Customer declined extended warranty offered at time of sale. Vehicle sold with 80k plus miles is as is. Often times we offer a 30 day 50/50 warranty. If that was applied that would be expired as well. We will be happy to trade the customer out of the vehicle but the value will be at current...

market value and no reimbursement will be offered for their repairs.

At this time there is not any record of us owing the customer any money.  Please let me know if I can be any assistance in her discussions with the finance company.

Review: I recently purchased a used 2005 BMW X5 from your dealership (vin# 5UX[redacted]3002). I did not purchase an extended warranty offered to me at an additional cost of $700.00. stated on the dealer website notes all used vehicles are thoroughly inspected by your service department prior to selling. Additionally on our approximate 2 mile test drive I asked sales representative (Matt Stephanson did not have a business card) if there are any issues with the vehicle and was directly told there are no issues and all used vehicles are completely inspected before being placed for sale. Upon agreeing to purchase the vehicle the question was again asked to the sales representative and again we were told there are no issues with the vehicle. The day after purchasing the vehicle I found oil on the floor of my garage and driving the vehicle the next day I noticed a slipping in the transmission. Returned car to dealership for them to evaluate and was told there are several issues with the vehicle and would cost several thousand dollars to repair but they would charge me for repairs for a car I owned for a few days. we have discovered that the vehicle cannot event be registered in our name as there is an issue with the vehicle previously being registered out of state.Currently vehicle is still registered to an owner in Nevada. I have taken vehicle to an independent repair facility and they estimate is nearly $4,000.00 for repairs and a transmission repair facility will not even give an estimate for transmission issues without my paying for an estimate because they need to pull transmission to check issues.Desired Settlement: I was called by dealership (Katy Peck) on 2/10/2014 offering full repairs or I could swap for another vehicle. I talked with dealership extensively on 2/10, 2/11, 2/12 and on the afternoon of the 12th Katy called and noted they will not provide full repairs without charging and I cannot swap vehicle for another vehicle on their lot. Dealership should either fully repair vehicle to my satisfaction or take vehicle back and credit me for payments and urgent repairs I have paid for.

Review: THIS DEALERSHIP CHARGED ME 800.00 FOR SOMETHING THAT WAS NEVER INSTALLED ON MY TRUCK. I WENT BACK TO ASK THEM FOR A REFUND AND THEY TOLD ME NO THAT THEY CANT GIVE ME A REFUND AND THAT THEY WONT GIVE ME A REFUND. ID ONT SEE HOW THIS IS LEGAL.Desired Settlement: I WOULD JUST LIKE MY MONEY BACK FOR SOMETHING THAT WAS NEVER PUT ON MY VEHICLE.

Review: [redacted], I being his fianc filing this on his behalf, purchased a vehicle march 8, 2014 and he was told he would be purchasing 3 months of insurance through the dealers insurance at the price of $309. I called to verify coverage dates today and the insurance company said this was only valid for 30 days. We were lied to and scammed and need this issue addressed immediately. They also had us sign a contract stating the loan was being issued by the ventura county credit union, the following day they called stating they denied the loan but would take care of it by finding another bank to accept the loan. I am aware with a new contract new documentation needs to be completed and signed but they told us they would take care of it and didn't need us to come in. This sounds fraudulent and I need a clarification on this matter immediately.Desired Settlement: That 309 should be refunded to us in order to look for a proper insurance carrier that will actually cover us for the dates stated. As far as a new contract must be given to us to ensure the new loan is looked over and approved.

Review: On Sept. 28,2013, my son [redacted] and I went to purchase a one ton GMC Sierra 350 from the Alexander Buick of Oxnard dealership, between us we had cash of $15,500.00 to purchase a one ton truck to pull a travel trailer we had just purchased and needed to remove the trailer from where we had purchased it, a dirt lot off Borchard Ave. in Newbury Park, 5 days prior to finding what we wanted a Sierra GMC 2005 Duramax engine, and it had leather enterior and they said they would add a factory navigation, if I gave them CASH of $15,500.00 they would finance me at 15% interest the balance of $6,000.00. All of us,including the head manager on at the time of the "agreed upon sale," signed what we needed to be signed and they said they would "have the navigation and cracked windsheild, and any other problems repaired, and replaced, the car will have been gone through from A to Z. Including a full tank of deisal in the sale." However, I could not drive the truck that day because they needed to do the repairs and clean it up. They instructed me to be back in town from San Luis Obispo on the following Tuesday to pick up the truck. Austin and I were extacic because it was exactly what we wanted. It was worth it to wait on the dirt lot at Borchard to get our truck, no utilities, no water...One week passes and I owe $300.00 for the parking extension on the lot, and I could not stay in the trailer I needed to get a hotel. So now I am paying $55.00 ea night for a hotel, and $300.00 to the Borchard lot to keep a 37 ft traler there. When I call Alexander dealership and try for the 20th time to get somebody to call me back, this time I asked for the sales manager Larry Cook. I informed him I recently within the last month, had a heart attack and had to stints placed in my heart, I cant afford the danger of no heat/utilities/water in my motor home and I need my truck I bought now to move my trailer to hook-ups, while they repair "whatever" is broken on the truck that I have by now insured as well.Desired Settlement: Give me my one ton GMC Sierra 3500 in good working condition with replacing or repairing the windshield crack, install navigation, and the motor if that is necessary! And while they have now kept my truck 2 1/2 wks they take responsibility for me to have proper hook ups like electricity, water and toilet at a cost of $45.00 a day and towing me or compensate me for ever walking into Alexander of Oxnard $2,000 plus my cash refund. They don't stand behind their word!I have a contract.

Review: This issue has given me nothing but anxiety for over 2 months now. No customer service, nor communication to us, unless we call or attempt to reach their office. They are not returning any calls now and owe us money. This is very time consuming and has been nothing BUT stressful.Desired Settlement: We would like our money back that is owed to us due to a payment that we made and was refunded by the lender. A pay off was made to the car lender by Alexander. Alexander has had the refunded funds since last week. They have not contacted us. Great customer service to actually buy a car.... BUT TERRIBLE customer service to resolve an error the dealer made. All we need is communication...

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 10957387.

Review: Dealer sold me a vehicle without having proper title to it. Because the vehicles title is still in the previous owners name I am unable to register it with the DMV, refinance my loan and pick up my custom plates from the DMV. Also, my registration will expire in 10 days deeming the vehicle illegal to drive.Desired Settlement: I would like my truck replaced with the equivalent (and with proper title) we agreed on in our contract.

Review: I purchased my first car, a 2005 Lincoln LS from Alexander GMC in Oxnard CA with extended warranty. Before I drove off the lot I assured myself with the sales representative if the automobile had been inspected. He assured me the car was inspected all around oil, spar plugs etc. within a couple of days I took it back because it was not driving right they told me they would fix it, but they wanted me to pay 1/2 of the cost. After several attempts they supposedly fixed the problem, but was left without o car or rental for 3 days. Within two weeks I took the car back because my check engine light when on the advised me it was my fault the car had problems and that I denied some services to be done the first time I Took it in, which is not true they advised me everything was fixed. I have been without a car for about three weeks now. I spoke to the extended warranty department and they claim the dealer is trying to pull a fast one on me and them. I finally went to the dealer on Friday, January 3, 2014. It seemed like they were willing to help and replace the car. They advised me to look at another car, not to worry about the price that they would work around it and I would stay with the same payments and they would pay off the loan for the 2005 Lincoln. I finally choose a car, but to my surprise when they were suppose to bring in the paper work they said the warranty department was working with them and that the banks were closed already so I had to return the next day to finish the process. Mind you I was at the dealers all day Friday. I showed up at the dealer Saturday morning to finish the paperwork and get the replacement car they promised. To my surprised they went back on their word and said my credit score had dropped and they couldn't do anything until Monday or Tuesday, January 6 or 7. I've been very stressed over this because I work in Camarillo and have been asking for a ride to work and had to take personal time off to try and handle this situation. I don't know how many people theyDesired Settlement: Done this too but it needs to stop. All I'm asking is for them to give me the replacement car of 2013 Buick with warranty that they agreed to with my original payments of $342.00. The vehicle comes with warranty so I shouldn't be penalized for that. They wanted to up my payment $200 because the car comes with warranty. I think I should get the savings of the extended warranty I was originally paying instead of getting penalized.
