I can't speak for other customers, however, I had a great experience with this shop. I was out of town visiting friends, and my car broke down. I had to have it towed in to their shop. Just so happened that they weren't all that busy that day, and they were able to get started on it right then. Didn't take them long to figure out what the problem was either. They had it fixed by that afternoon. The price was very reasonable, and the service was friendly and fast. Would definitely recommend them. You can't judge a business based off of a handful of unsatisfied customers and their reviews....like everything else, there are always two sides to every story.

Took my car to three different shops to get a quote to fix it. These guys were the cheapest (I'm in college, so cheap is good). Haven't had any problems since, so I think they did great work. Had my car back in a couple days.

Wow this place is shaddy. Had an 8 AM appointment for about a 2-hr job and they stated would be done that day no problem and would call me. Well after many calls that afternoon(bust signal all day) he stated got busy and did not start my auto???I had an appointment?? I was just going to pick it up but he promised would be done early the next day. Well again after many attempts to get through to these jerks the guy told me it got busy and still did not even do my auto. I told him put the key in and lock it and I would be up to pic it up. 2-days wasted!! What jerks I'm kinda glad now they did not work on it if they run a business like that!! STAY AWAY

Review: I turned my car into Alexander's Diagnostics on July 9, 2015 with the following complaint: my engine was shaking when I was at idle, the check engine light would sometimes come on, and for two days some time ago it said service traction control and would stall when I came to a stop. They told me my computer was bad and if I had it replaced the shaking would stop. The estimate was $[redacted].**. They told me I could put $[redacted] down and pay the rest when I got paid. I agreed and paid the $[redacted]. I picked it up June 15, 2015 and brought it straight back because it was still shaking at idle. [redacted], who I was told owns the place,told me he'd fix the problem. Nobody called me on the 16th so I called on the 17th and was told it stopped shaking and I could pick it up. However, it was still shaking just as bad and I brought it back and was told I could just take my car and not pay the difference because they had fixed the problem as far as they were concerned. I asked for my $[redacted] back since they never repaired what I brought it in for and was told I would not get my money back. They had my car for eight days total, which is a huge deal for me and a hassle because I travel for work a lot. They never fixed what I asked them to fix and refused to refund me the money.Desired Settlement: I would like my $[redacted] back. I gave them a chance to correct the issue, and they didnt. My car is running the same, if not worse, than before I took it to Alexanders diagnostics.

I have had wonderful service from Alexander's for many years and many vehicles. This low rating is based on one poor review which makes it unfair.

My husband decided to take our car here to have them fix the air. It had gone out a few months before, but since summer had rolled around, we needed it again. The people at the shop seemed pretty friendly, and the service was pretty good. In the end, they fixed the air. It took a week to fix. I understand that they were waiting on the parts though, which was out of their control. but I would recommend this shop to anyone. We have since started using them for out oil changes in both or our vehicles as well.
