reasonable to replace the set for such a small abrasion. Mrs. [redacted] refused to allow us to schedule an appointment for the repair. Since Mrs. [redacted] refused the service / repair, we are left at an impasse. Thank you, [redacted]

If for whatever reason my dryer is not fixed, it needs to be replaced, if something goes wrong again I have no serial number.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is, while well worded, still not going to earn my future business, nor a positive recommendation from me to any acquaintances. I appreciate the efforts of one gentleman who is the sales manager, [redacted], who made a personal effort to physically be present when the new dresser finally was delivered, at approximately 10pm. The job was completed around 11pm. I certainly hope that he takes the helm of the company because he is the only person who made effort to rectify the situation, and the business will surely sink if he isn’t around.  Sincerely,[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: This response is simply not true. We did not insist that the items come early. We were expecting our delivery between 2-4 weeks but was told to call on Tuesday  November 7th 2017 to verify that our items were not on back order which we did. We were told that nothing was on back order and our items would be on the truck on November 9th or 10th. We called back on the 11th and was told that only half of our items came in and told me that they (Alexander Furniture) was going to call the manufacture and insist that the rest of our items be on the truck along with 4  close other invoices. The only communication Alexander Furniture had with us is we initiated contact. We gave our furniture away because Alexander Furniture promised us that they were demanding our furniture and that we would have our furniture before Thanksgiving. When this didn't happen we called to cancel our order on November 27 2017. Alexander Furniture never delivered the items we never took position of the items. Look at their [redacted] Review and we are not the only one they have done this to. We contacted [redacted] and they closed our account. We also spoke with [redacted] and they have turned it over to their fraud department and we are awaiting confirmation that they have closed our account as well. So when Alexander Furniture says that it is out of their hands and the finance company will not cancel the transaction without a 25% restock fee is false.

Review: I purchased a sofa, love seat a coffee table from Alexander's on January 14, 2016. I was told that it would take 2-4 weeks MAX for delivery. I let them know that I had an event on Feb 6th and needed the furniture by then and they assured me that I would have the furniture by then. When I didn't hear back by the 6th, I went into the store that Saturday morning, ready to cancel my order. The owner, Alex, arranged to have the floor models delivered to my house. After inspecting the floor models and found that they had no damage, I agreed because they had no damage and I had no furniture and was having a party at my house that evening. When the furniture was delivered, the drivers damaged the love seat (see picture). I called Alex and he asked me to send him pictures. He said that when my furniture did finally arrive, he would have the love seat swapped out. I agreed. On Monday Feb 22, Alexander's finally received the furniture I ordered back on January 14 and came to swap the two couches with the floor models. I could see by the way the delivery guys were handling the furniture that they were inexperienced and rushed. They were pulling at the plastic and cardboard. When the couches were set up, I saw that both the sofa and love seat had tears on the corners. I know this is from grabbing the cushions too hard in handling. Alex (the owner) is blaming this on [redacted] saying it's a manufacturer defect. I've visited other retailers and looked at these same couches and they don't have holes. I notated on the delivery paperwork that I needed to speak with Alex about the couches and it took 2 weeks for me to get a call back from [redacted]), on Tuesday March 8th at 7:30pm, who told me that the only resolution they would offer would be for them to send a repair person from [redacted] out to repair the couches. I told them that wouldn't be acceptable to me. I asked to return the merchandise for a full refund. [redacted] told me that he would get back to me and he never did.Desired Settlement: I last spoke with the owner, Alex, on 3/10 where he reiterated that he would only have couches repaired. I stated that I thought it was ludicrous to repair brand new couches that I didn't damage. This company's lack of customer service, professionalism, handling of product are completely out of line. Phone calls don't get returned in a timely manner. This furniture was financed and I've already made two payments. I would like to return with a full refund. This isn't a manufacturer issue.

I am rejecting this response because:Both the sofa and love seat arrived with holes that are not considered small. The delivery men put these holes in the furniture while removing the plastic/cardboard packaging. They are blaming this on a "manufacturer defect." I have spoken with [redacted] Furniture who assured me that because these holes aren't located on the seams, they aren't manufacturer defects. They also said that they would have to take the furniture and completely reupholster the sides and backs of them. I paid $1,700 for these couches and waited almost 2 months (when I could've ordered them from a competitor and received them in a week). I feel it's ludicrous to have to have them recovered, and be without furniture, when Alexander's damaged them. I would like them returned for a full refund.

Review: We ordered a bed on 2/17/2016 bed was promised to be in in 2 weeks. It is now 4/25/2016. Wè have been given several excuses and delivery dates and still no bed. 2 payments have been dedicated from bank acct.Desired Settlement: Would like to get the bed or out of the financial contract.

Terrible! The sales woman was very nice, and quite helpful! But thats where the pleasantries ended. After being told I would have my bedroom set, mattress, couch and end tables in 2-3 weeks I didn't hear from them for almost 6 weeks. I tried calling several times. Sometimes no answer, sometimes my information would be taken down and I would be promised a return call. But nobody ever calls. Finally after an additional week I received a call to schedule my deliver for between 1pm and 3pm. Sweet! Except after 5pm I still hadn't received anything. I call the store again, no answer. I try again at 6 and talk to a sales associate who offers to call me back. Yeah right. So I ask to talk to a manager. After coming back and trying to give me more excuses, the sales associate finally convinces "manager" Danny to talk to me. He makes excuse after excuse but has no actual answers. He offers to call me back. Didn't happen...... They finally showed up after 745 and where there until almost 10pm....... The furniture is nice, but it wasn't worth the time spent or insane frustration. I can barely stand to look at it now.

Review: I ordered 2 sets of sofas from this store on 1/24/16 for a total of $3,333.58. A printed contract was signed by me with a delivery and set up date of 2-4 weeks. After 4 weeks there was no follow up call to schedule or update me on my items. I called the store several times speaking with customer reps [redacted] to get an update on my order. I was told initially that a return call would be made to update me. No calls ever came. My credit card was already charged a week after the date of purchase. Finally a follow up call (5th attempt) was made and I was told my products had arrived at the warehouse. A lady would call me to arrange a delivery date. No one called. After several attempts I finally was able to speak with a rep who told me another rep would call me to schedule a delivery. A delivery was finally scheduled (scheduled for 2/26/16 from 4-6pm). On the day of delivery no deliveries came. I received call stating they were busy and had to rescheule. It was rescheduled to later that night (7-10pm). No deliveries came again and no follow up call to reschedule or update status.

At this point I was unsure how to resolve this issue as another promise will likely not be met. This filing was the next step in hopes of resolving this matter and hopefully prevent this from happening to another consumer. A few reviews from their Facebook account for the store echoes similar things happening to other consumers. My next step after this will be to file fraud with my bank and hiring an attorney. Please help!Desired Settlement: I would take a full refund as I have not received any producet and my time wasted for a month while my credit card has already been charged.

Although the store may offer some sort of compensation I am done dealing with this store and their inability to communicate and/or finish the job.
