Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***I am very happy that for yrs they have run a perfect business, but this is not the issue. The issue is that you performed inappropriate practices with this customer and what was said and what was done are two different things. 1) you indicate that I was in on April2,to RETURN the dress, but I did not have the dress in my possession. I still owed $248.47. I did go in with my grandmother to see how you could help me acquire an resolution in view that someone else had the same dress (on layaway) to the same promI and my grandmother were told that (only for that day) we needed to choose a dress equivalent to $478.00, not the deposit of $248.78, if the cost of the chosen dress is less than $478.00, we still would be expected to pay $478.00. as noted on previous rejection, we did choose one for the cost of $381.00, to which again we were reminded that we needed to pay the original price of $and not -deposit of This offer was only offered till the closed of that day. We were never offered a credit for future purchasesPlease note the store response where they state the "not only do we explain the policies, we require the customer to sign the form times." Our receipt is not signed, the original receipt they sent is not signed, however the receipt attached with this response is signed twice. We did not sign this. We have not returned to the store since April 2, 2017.Another statement: "This was a trunk dress (?) and came in for that weekend" Original transaction was not on a weekend event, but on 3/28/(Tuesday)....As noted above, we requested resolution, as the dress was not going to work for us.Another statement: "she said in the complaint that she paid the balance, but she did not pay the balance." We never indicated we paid the balance in the complaint.Another statement: "She also stated that she is and under and cannot sign a contract, She mother signed the contract, Please see attached." *** *** is yrs old and her mother was never involved in this process. She lives with her grandmother. The receipt was provided by the store in their original documentation without a signature and suddenly with this response, it has a signature. We have the original receipt...WITH NO SIGNATURE. Now I question again the legal practices of this business. Their inconsistencies in customer care and even in their error in response to my complaint leaves a sour taste, not to mention the signature that suddenly appeared when I still have the original receipt WITHOUT A SIGNATURE.Yours truly,*** ***

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***I was NEVER told that I had a credit for my deposit. Also the original dress cost $478.00....they had a deposit of $248.47...the option I was given was that I was mandated to purchase a dress for the original cost of the original dress and if it was under the $I would still be charged $478.00. This option was presented at 2pm Sunday and it was only good till the close of that day. I picked a dress for $and I needed to pay the original balance of $instead of the difference of $- $(deposit) which would be a difference of $102.53. Who purposely pays more for lessand I ask how legal is this practice. My hands were tied so I just left the store in tears without any dress I did receive many calls from the store demanding the balance be paid for a dress that I did not want as another girl to my same prom had purchased the dress from them already. I had informed them I did not want the dress and I was told it was mine anyway and they could not put it back on the sale floor despite that the dress was never taken out of the store and never altered. I truly question the practices of this store. They are not customer friendly and quite frankly their business practices do not appear to be legal.

When she bought the dress on March 28th, she was aware of the store policies. We have the customer sign on the receipt which I have attached. Actually, the balance was due on April 28th and she agreed to this. We do not push or are forceful of any customer purchasing a dress. We are a fullservice, reputable store being in business for years. We sold thousands of dresses this year and we no problem with any customer because if they do not enjoy the dress they are purchasing, we always allow an exchange for another dressWe do have a no refund policy. We had at the time she was in over different prom dresses for her to pick from.As you can see the attachments. We note every interaction with every customer and it is date stamped and time stamped when the customer is contacting the store. She was in on April 2nd and she wanted to return the dress and we told her that she could exchange the dress for another dress if she did not like this dress for equal or high value than her deposit she left which was $248.47. You can see the notes on the file. We are a very transparent store and we are very clear with our customers what our store policies are. Not only do we explain the policies, we require the customer to sign the form times. Our store polices are also posted on the counter whereshe was cashed out We tried to contact her several times during the time her balance was due and she never responded to us and she never exchanged the dress for another dress. In fact, she told us on May 3rd that she would be in to pay later that day. We still have this dress in layaway and she has a balance of $248.47.This dress was a trunk show dress and came in special just for this weekend. I would be willing to give her a store credit for her deposit of $and keep the dress. She can apply the deposit she left that to any other dress or accessories in our store. She said in the complaint that she paid the balance, but she did not pay thebalance. She also stated that she is and under and cannot sign an contract. She mother signed the contractPlease see attached. Store policies apply where you are a minor or not. I am sorry, that this has happened, but we are more than fair and we set up store policies for a reason. She had the opportunity to move the deposit towards another dressand choose not to do this Please let me know if you have any further questions. Customer came in for a bridal appointment on August 18th and tried on dresses The stylist worked with her and she said yes to the dress This dress that she bought was from a trunk show that was being shown here that weekend She even received a discount for the purchase of
her trunk show dress The next day she called and said that she wasn't getting married, which was not the truth We do not force any customer to leave a deposit to order a dress She did it out of herfree will As you can see on the attached receipts, she was informed of the store policies, which we do not refund money She signed in two places and initialed near thesize We also have all over every counter as well, all sales are final, no refunds We have given her a store credit that she can use here in the store for year for anything she would like to purchase Please let me know if there is anything else that I can help you with.
