Review: Although I have full health coverage through my employer and my health insurance provider has paid ASE Physicians for emergency services, I continue to be billed by ASE and recently received a notice from ASE Collections ([redacted]). ASE Physicians was contacted by my insurance provider in October 2013 to clear up any billing issues and I was informed by my health insurance provider that the matter was remediated and I don't owe anything to ASE. Shortly after I received another billing statement that I still owe ASE. I contacted ASE again and spoke to a Supervisor (Mary) on 11/8/13. Mary said there was no record of my health insurance provider contacting ASE. I asked her what I needed to do to get this resolved and she said to email ([redacted]) my Explanation of Benefits (EOB) documents from my health insurance provider showing "no patient liability" for the services provided. I emailed the EOB documents on 11/8/13 and never heard back from ASE. They again sent me bills and thus I called them back and spoke to [redacted] at ASE. I emailed and faxed my EOB documents once again to [redacted] on 11/26/13. I again spoke to Frank on 11/27/13 and emailed my EOB documents to him. In both instances both ASE employees said they could not read the documents. This was odd, because I emailed the documents to another one of my email accounts and opened up the documents on my phone and could clearly read them. Frank said he would have someone from ASE contact me, but the only notification I received afterwards was from ASE Collections on 12/3/13. I also mailed the documents to ASE in [redacted], MD (which is local) on 11/29/13. I called ASE on 12/4/13 and they said I still owe them for the emergency services provided.Desired Settlement: ASE Physicians should send me confirmation that this matter has been resolved and I don't owe anything to ASE. If necessary, contact my health insurance company for verification that I don't have any patient liability. My health insurance provider has paid ASE their agree-upon rate for the services provided already.
