To Whom It May Concern; On July 15th we order our daughter’s wedding cake from ABC Cake Shop and Bakery for her July 28th weddingThe cake was delivered and the topper placed on the cake by the delivery person The cake was inside on the dining room table Within minutes to an hour we heard a thud and turned to see that the topper had slid off the cake and brokeThe head of the bride was broken off While [redacted] and I cut the cake we observed there was nothing in the top layer of the cake to secure the topper to the cake There were wooden sticks in the bottom (second Layer) On Friday, July 29th my husband [redacted] spoke with Judy and BryanJudy took the complaint and took the piece to the back and glued the head back onAt that time [redacted] explained what happenedHe was told that there should have been posts to secure the piece [redacted] stated that the piece of cake he had did have posts but it was the almond cake which was the bottom layer not the topAs this was th
October 14th we had a cake for a 50th Wedding Anniversary and it was supposed to have gold trim Well when they delivered the cake it was an orange color According to Bryan that was there version of gold, when we met with him he took out the yellow frosting and said after they applied their application it would be darker and a gold color Well there version of gold is very far from what our version was My daughter talked to Bryan yesterday and to the worst handling in customer complaints he needs some customer service training as well as most of their employees Also when the cake was
delivered it was not flushing with the pillars that were on as the a stand the driver made a note of it and agreed that it was a little problem and he was
