Review: 11/**/15 went to purchase items from this store. It was black Friday so sales person told us he brought down the dining table to $316 from high 300's and sold us the chairs at first for $80 then brought it down to $74.50 because my grandmother was also purchasing more products. We told him my mother was gifting the dining table so he can charge that on her card and I was purchasing the chairs on my card. delivery date was for five days later 12/*/15. Never received item or phone call from the store. I called and he said in two weeks it will be ready I told him my disappointment but still chose to wait. two weeks later again no item or phone call from the store. I called and they said he left to Dominican Republic another lady by the name of Jocasta said to call her back on Monday to remind her to call manufacturing company. (Very unprofessional of her) I call back and she says it will be in at the end of January. I said do not want the item and wanted my money back. She said come in and we can look for another table I said no that was the only one that was to my measurements and style and I spent about an hour looking through their magazines. I arrive at store and she still wanted to look through magazines and realized what I had previously said was right. When she was in the process of returning the money to my mothers card she said the amount she was returning was $179 I said no my mother paid $316 for the table she said that was impossible because it is only worth $179 and the chairs cost $138. I told her how much he said he sold us the items and she said no that it was impossible. He called him to Dominican Republic and put him on the phone with me after walking away and speaking to him away from me. He lied and said he sold us a package deal and said we wanted to put a certain amount on my mothers card and the rest on my card. She told me I needed to speak to manager who wasn't there. I went back again and he was not there. Sales person basically moved the money around and lied tDesired Settlement: full refund and they should be shut down because I'm sure I'm not the only person they have scammed. I would of never known if the manufacturing company had not delayed the dining table. There is also more details to the situation but I was limited with characters.

Review: I purchased furniture from Alexis Furniture on November **, 2013. I purchased a dining table and couches. I was supposed to receive the delivery of furniture on December **, 2013. The delivery never arrived nor did I receive a called for cancellation. I called and was told that I would receive the deliver on the following day; again the delivery did not arrive. On December [redacted], I received a call from the delivery man to come downstairs and ensure I was receiving the correct furniture. I only received the dining table and one correct couch, the other couch did not match my original order, and therefore the driver took the un-matching couches back. Then the following day on Saturday (Dec. [redacted]), I went to the store and was told by the sales person [redacted], that I would be receiving my delivery that day. Effectively, there was another delivery on Saturday, December [redacted], in which I receive the other matching couch. On Monday, December [redacted] I called the sales person [redacted] to complain about a stain on the second couched delivered on the [redacted] and black spot on the couch leg, that same day I proceed to call my credit card company to cancel the purchase. I asked her to kindly that I would like to return my order because of all the inconsistency with the sale. [redacted] said she would have the [redacted] call me in which he did not call and I waited. Again I called [redacted] the next day she said that the [redacted] called me all day on Tuesday, in which I confirm was a lie. Finally after days of being given the round around, the [redacted] called me on 12/[redacted] and said I would have to lose 30% of my money if I return the order, in addition, the [redacted] threatened me by saying that he could ask his lawyer “to say I damaged the couches”.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for this purchase.
