Review: We purchased a dresser for a child's room with expectation of it arriving in time for her birthday. We were told it would arrive the day before which it did but was not the correct color. We were then told we would have to wait thru the weekend, until Monday, to get the one we ordered. So for the little girls birthday, her new room was not complete. Monday came and went without any notification from Alex's Furniture so we called and were told it would arrive sometime during the week. Wednesday came and it was getting late so we called and asked about when the dresser would be delivered. We were told it would come that day. We were not prepared because we both work but when we were called saying they were there to deliver, my girlfriend left work to meet the delivery person. She did not inspect the item because she had to return to work. But later in the day when it was inspected it was damaged. We called Alex's and was told we have to talk to the sale person who was not in and won't be until the next day. We called him the next day, explained the situation and he said he could do nothing for me nor would he, but he did say he would give me the manufacturer phone number to have the damaged pieces replaced. After asking for help and if I can have the dresser replaced he said no. I said his people damaged it so why am I stuck with getting it fixed. Can you replace it. He said no and said I have to call the manufacturer. We also purchased a bunk bed which BTW did not arrive on time and was not the color we ordered. Another came and it was also not put together with care so it also looks damaged but we had to have something for the bedroom. Overall we paid cash which is a mistake, and now we have two pieces of furniture from this place that did not arrive when scheduled and are damaged and the store has no concern or cares if you are satisfied. The products are damaged!Desired Settlement: I have no issues with getting a dresser that is not damaged and I say this because their policy is no refunds. We asked for our money back and they said no.

Review: In June of 2013, my husband and I went shopping for furniture for our new home when we came across this store. It is our first home so we wanted everything to be perfect. When we went in, we were helping right away however, the prices did not fit our budget so as I was walking out I was stopped and told we could get a better deal. This happened 3 times until we got what fit our budget. To my understanding, the furniture was from Ashley Furniture which they receive furniture from and sell it to customers. When we had it delivered, within a week the manual recliners broke on both bucket couches! They came and repaired one of them a month and half later after we called them EVERYDAY with different numbers because they would not answer our phone calls so we went to the store physically and finally got their attention. They looked at both couches to advise us that they could only fix one and the other would have to be replaced from the manufacturer "under warranty". It is now September and they are still giving us the run around and nothing has been replaced. I have not received all but 2 calls they have made to us with no resolution to this matter for 3 months now ! They stole our money I feel and company has been coming over to see a broken couch in our brand new FIRST home. My husband called Ashley Furniture himself as the vendor stated that we were called but even Ashley Furniture stated that this couch does not belong to them! They don;t even sell it! I have requested that they replace the whole set for something in their store but they said NO they can't do that!Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund for the couches that we purchased. I have the receipt with the dates, a call log with the amount of times we have reached out to them and the minimal amount that have reached out to us to help resolve this. A refund is desired if not, then a full replacement of a DIFFERENT set of couches would be best!
