Mrs*** purchased her Fiat Pop on January 16,
and as such, this vehicle is covered under a bumper-to-bumper manufacturer warranty until January 16, or 50,miles, whichever occurs first
Her vehicle has been brought to the dealership on three separate occasions since ownership and here is an itemized explanation of issues and results:
May 20th, 2016:
Line A: Oil Change
Line B: Tire Rotation (if necessary); technician deemed rotation unnecessary
Line C: Blinker Engagement Issues; technician was unable to replicate this issue
Line D: Blue&Me Connection Issues; technician found it necessary to replace the module
Line E: Sluggish Performance; technician performed a flash recall to correct the powertrain control module
May 26th, 2016:
Line A: Upon arrival of Blue&Me module, customer brought the vehicle back in and work was completed on May 27th, 2016, at no expense to her
September 7th, 2016:
Mrs*** brought the vehicle in for service with a long list of concerns and our service department ascertained that it was best to keep the vehicle for observation purposes and put Mrs*** in a loaner vehicleOur service loaner vehicle was out from September 7th until September 12th
See below Repair Order Customer Descriptions:
Line A: Transmission slow to up-shift and shutters when braking: unable to replicate
Line B: Necessary to jiggle key to remove it from the ignition; technician unable to replicate
Line C: Driver side mirror moves slowly; technician checked motor and operation and all were properly working
Line D: Blue&Me drops calls; tested new module and everything checked out
Line E: Turn signals are sporadic; unable to replicate
Line F: A/C loud and weak; technician tested with thermometer and temperature was approximately degrees Fahrenheit, which is optimal A/C output
Line G: Headlights seem to dim; check efficacy of headlights and everything checked out
While the vehicle was in our custody, we drove it about miles total, in order to replicate the transmission upshift and shuttering brake concern, as well as the A/C concernsNot only did our lead technician drive the vehicle in hopes of replicating the problems described, at Mrs***'s agreement, our General Manager drove the vehicle home for the night and back to work the following dayBoth drivers of Mrs***'s vehicle were unable to duplicate the problemThe ***s picked up their vehicle on Monday, September 12th and per our inability to duplicate such matters, our General Manager reached out to FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) Corporate to seek resolution from the manufacturer
Per FCA, Mrs*** is to drop her Fiat Pop off at our dealership, Alfa Romeo Fiat of the Triad, on Monday, September 26, by 8:AM, with a loaner vehicle provided to herShe will be provided with some sort of loaner/rental vehicle (at zero expense to her) for the duration of the diagnosis of the vehicle
We are avidly working to ensure that Mrs***'s concerns are addressed and have taken attempts to resolve her concerns by involving the manufacturer
