I was referred to Alfaro lawn care back in October when I moved from out of state I got a quote to landscape my new yard We went over drawings, my likes and dislikes, colors etc the quote came in at about what I had expected to pay My yard is not huge 35'x65' A crew arrived on Saturday morning, started grading and removing rocks Had the patio extended with pavers, had drip system installed as well as sprinklers, grass sod, plants, trees and rock The guys were done in one day and my yard is beautiful I consequently have them on a weekly basis They are always here, usually two guys, yard mowed, trees cared for, and property blown clean I had a problem with one if my drips and they were out the next day as it was late when the issue was disvovered I'm very happy with their service, have never had a no show, and are overall extremely accommodating
Found the company's business card stuck in my front door one day in early Was unhappy with the lawn care "professional" I was currently using and was looking for a company to replace himCalled the number on the card, spoke with the owner and arranged for a free estimate to be done at my property by the ownerEstimate was exactly at the dollar amount I wanted to pay per month and the promises and expectations placed on my by the owner was exactly what I wanted to hearI hired the company on the spot
As an Attorney, I drew up a simple contract and delivered it to the owner via email before work began for the first timeIt explained very briefly what the owner expected of me and what I expected from the owner and his companyThat way neither of us could say that anything asked was outside of the scope of our duties and that everyone was on the same page from day oneThe owner agreed to the contract via email
First maintenance visit to my house included the owner and his associatesDid an amazing job on my property, really looked professional and I was very happySpent the time I expected on the property to ensure a complete and professional lookThat was the last time I would see this kind of care and attention to detail from this company
All maintenance visits after the first one did not include the owner but rather just his associatesSpeed was the most important item on the agenda for each visitWith speed came utter sloppyness, missing completely half the property and no attention to detailIt came to the point where I had to stand outside during each visit and point out all of the vegetation that was untouched, barely touched thus looking horrible and sloppy and trimmings that were not picked up and removed from the propertyWhat made it even harder was the communication barrier between the associates and myself, I do not speak Spanish and the associates did not speak English so on-site communications were reduced to pointing and gesturesNeedless to say this did not help get my small property maintained to my very minimal standards during each visit
The actions and lack of actions by the owner regarding the contract that he agreed to prior to the first scheduled visit quickly showed exactly what this company was about, speed and paymentI had to remind him every month that his constant disregard for the mutually agreed upon contract, in every way, was not only disrespectful but unacceptableAfter only four months of putting up with the owners consistant disrespect, lies and foul mouth toward me, I terminated our contract
I have never been cursed at and called a liar over and over again by the owner of a company before for following a mutually agreed upon contract and asking for him to do the same

very cheap but only showed on pay days. then they would only trim a couple of bushes instead of all that needed trimming. very hard to get hold of to ask questions. only lasted 4 months before I had to go elsewhere
