I used Alfredo Moving last monthI am still trying to find my stuffThey put boxes anywhere without reading the top of the box that says what room it goes inAlfredo tried to argue with me of where my furniture pieces should go, kept claiming they won't fit in the rooms we want them inHe pouted while the other workers moved the items where I wanted with no problemsI felt very disrespected as they kept yelling at me saying "hey lady " loudly Every time they put things in the wrong place I would ask them to move it Attitudes and rolling of the eyes happened as they unprofessionally did not want to do itIt was too big of a move for what they quotedIt took them days to move us and they quoted us as a hour moveThen they charged us more then there quoteThe nerve

This was a terrible move, it was stressful and cost me losing money because Alfredo could not deliver as promised. I hired Alfredo Moving for a local move from a single family home to another single family home in Fairfax County. We have a big house with lots of stuff, so I had all the candidates inspect the house including Alfredo to get a quote. He gave a quote for the contents of the entire house, no surprises or add-on charges (wrong). He said he would provide garment boxes (he did not have enough) and padding for furniture. He also used a total of 4 men for this move with 2 26 foot trucks.
Alfredo arrived on day scheduled, filled up two trucks and said that he was done and ready to unload at the new house. I said well there is still furniture and boxes in the house, you are not done. He says, yes I filled two trucks. It took him over 14 hours to load and unload. I had to beg him to pick up the rest of the items and he still was not done, he had to go back for a third trip and collect two more large furniture items. All this cost me money because I was not able to get out of the house on-time for the new owners to move in.
I gave Alfredo Moving a failing grade. He did not honor is quote, he missed all kinds of items in the house and I had to load them in personal vehicle, I had to fill my SUV up three times due to the items he did not load, items such as clothes, pictures, small cupboard, etc.
I do not feel Alfredo Moving can handle large moves. He may be suited for small moves. I would not recommend him. I had to pay him over his quote, he made me lose money because he could not load the house on time, he forgot items in the house, and it took three trips.

Alfredo did a wonderful on a small office move that had a lot of unexpected problems including an Ikea bookshelf system that measured out okay, but just could not slip safely past one section of ceiling on the stairs. Alfredo had some Allen wrenches on his truck, and when combined with a similar tool that I had accessible in my stuff, he was able to get the item down, deliver it safely and re-assemble in my new place. His pricing was fair and up front - although I definitely gave him extra for the great job figuring out exactly what to do on the spot and saving the day. Both he and his second were extremely gracious during the move and showed much professionalism and care. This was a fine experience and I would recommend Alfredo without hesitation.
