Alfred's Burglar Bars Reviews (1)

The residents in case #[redacted] lived in our apartments from 12/1/11 until 10/13/14, just under 3 years. The rent was paid on time until October, and I know of no complaints from other residents...

about them. Twin Lakes received a "notice to vacate" on 9/13/14 from the residents in said apartment. The residents vacated sometime before 10/6/14 when a letter was received   stating the keys to the apartment were in the mail box of their apartment (the residents just left and did not turn in the keys). A 30 day notice is required before move-out, so 13 days of rent was due for October. This amount has not been paid. Every new resident is given a "move in sheet" at move in, and they are asked to inspect the apartment and turn in the sheet so any maintenance can be done and the sheet kept for the records. If there are additional things that need done and there is not enough room on the "move in sheet", residents are asked to add another sheet of paper with the additional maintenance items that need done. Everyone is asked to do this and not everyone does. In this case no "move in sheet" was turned in to Twin Lakes. A "post move out sheet" was mentioned, Twin Lakes has no such form. Our staff inspects each apartment move out and assesses all damages if any. Residents do not fill out a sheet themselves for this process. We do however walk through apartments after move out with residents, if the resident requests. Remolding was mentioned, I do not know to what this is referring. If a maintenance issue occurs (and Twin Lakes is aware of the problem) we always respond and do the best we can to resolve any issue with maintenance, the apartment in case #[redacted] was not an exception to this. There are no problems with remolding that we are aware of. As for the damages that were done to the apartment during the residents stay, most of it was pet damage especially the carpet, blinds and vinyl. The counter top was damaged with a hot pan or pot. Twin Lakes has pictures of all the damage and is willing share them with the ex-resident of case #[redacted]. If a phone call was missed from the resident, I apologize.
