Review: I entered a contract with a broker ([redacted]) with this company with the exchange of $500 (the deposit to secure an apartment). After numerous failures in communication, I was left homeless in queens for one week and did not end up getting the apartment. I went to see [redacted] ([redacted]) to complain about the service, experience and to seek assistance with the apartment. After a long meeting, he empathized and agreed that I should not be responsible for any of my hotel and uhaul extension costs. He also promised to help find me a new apartment if I couldn't get the one I submitted a deposit for. Within 24-36 hours, he stopped responding to my text messages (only contacted me regarding his employees misconduct). After three weeks, I was reimbursed my security deposit and only $250 of over $1000 in expenses (receipts were emailed to [redacted], [redacted] and [redacted]) for that week. I had agreed to accept 50% responsibility and asked for only $500 which would cover the hotel and uhaul expenses (as [redacted] promised). In the end, I was only given a $250 reimbursement with a take it or leave it attitude and no apology.Desired Settlement: I wish to be reimbursed my expenses for that week, as [redacted] agreed during our first meeting, which is another $250.
