Dear Representive at Revdex.com serving Metro Washington DC and Eastern Pennsylvania:This is our response to complaint assigned ***:Said customer came in on the 12th of October for a free private lesson/orientation/tour of the gym.After taking said lesson, she was giving a list of enrollment options
to decide if she wanted to continueher training with usThe first of those options is a week totally free trail, if the person chooses thisoption we never ask for a CC or any payment plan because again it is totally FREEThis person decided tonot take the free option and go for the 2nd option so they could save money on the Down Payment aswell as the monthly paymentThis option also comes with up to $worth of equipment, which saidcustomer gladly acceptedWe do month contracts with any student that decides the 2nd option whichcomes with the savings and free gearWe have a contract signed, printed and dated from this samecustomeron Oct12thThis customer was charged her down payment the same day she came in withthe CC information that she gave to usWe also have a separate paper of rules and procedures thatstates, "I have read both sides, signed, and fully agree to the Member Agreementl understand that Ihave purchased a corn plete martial arts course for the designated membership dates(6months)Thiscourse is non-refundable and non-transferable.” Later this customer decided she had some kind ofinjury preventing her from trainingThe student called us and we told her what our policy is for anytype of injuryWe need to see that it is a legitimate injury and that she went to an actual doctor andthey said that the student couldn't exercise with us anymoreInstead of emailing this form back to usthe student claimed a few weeks later they had someone, who had never been to our gym, drop it off.We never received any paperwork or had any visitors drop olfany paperworkOnce this student wasbilled again for her monthly she called again and complained about how we didn't take her off of billing.We never got any paperwork or heard from the student to make sure we got anythingInstead of goingback and forth with the student about their injury, we decided it would be best if they could just providethe proof of the injury as quickly as possible and they wouldn't be billed anymoreLater the studentemailed us a doctor's note and that student was taking off of billingShe claimswe have an email sayingwe would credit her, which is partially trueThe email states, " Attached is our membership interruption formPlease fill it out and you will be credited the time missed"We cleary state we will credit you the time missed for your injurywhich she mistook for credit you back moneysomehow.In summary, Student signed, dated, initialed a month member agreement and received $oftraining gear instead of choosing the week FREE optionStudent got hurt outside of the gym and neversent in proper paperwork, got billed again then sent in paperworkinstead of charging the full monthsas we are entitled to do because that is what the student signed for, we let student off as soon as theyprovided proper doctors noteWe have ail contracts and papers signed scanned as a jpeg
