To start, we were given a moving estimate in Novfor around $A mere three weeks before we were to move, about April 26th, 2016, the representative we were dealing with found and acknowledged that they had made a mistake in our estimateOur company relocation contract would pay $for our move, but now Paxton is charging $We had a second estimate done, and the cost went down to $After negotiating between the company and Paxton we were set to pay the differenceThere were numerous charges that were not needed or wanted in the estimate.When the truck line weighed our load we were pounds over their estimatevs We were notified when the driver arrived at our new location, we would have to pay $before he would deliver our belongingsTo me this was very bad business practice, since $was guaranteed to be paid by the companyIn addition, Paxton's calculations were very skewed in arriving at their charges on our final billThe ra

We contracted with Paxton Van Lines to move us to another stateThe process was smooth until the end of our contracted delivery window (which was set by Paxton), when we had not heard from anyone at Paxton regarding when our delivery would be completedThey were two days late delivering our goods which caused significant hardship and costs on our sideOnce delivery was made, we noticed multiple appliances and pieces of furniture were damaged, and a box of art was lostWe followed Paxton's procedures to claim the delay, damages, and lossAt all times since the claim was made, Paxton has dealt unethically with us, at first refusing any compensation for the delay or lossAfter multiple rounds of emails and calls with Paxton, they finally repaired the damaged furniture and appliances, and paid 50% of the costs we incurred due to their delivery delayThey are still denying any compensation for losing our box of art, and refuse to cover the other 50% of costs due to the delay

I relocated across the country and used *** *** *** I shipped a vehicle, furniture, and household goods
I had them put our items in storage before deliveryUpon delivery I saw that vehicle was damaged, all furniture was missing pieces and hardware, boxes missing, broken glass and spilled liquidMissing items from boxesYou name it
I was never informed that items would be disassembled for storageI believe this is why furniture pieces and hardware went missing (furniture were assembled when picked up at origin)If I knew disassembly was required then I would have taken delivery immediately
Submitted a claim and have asked repeatedly for updates on the search for missing items and on timeline for claim processing, but those emails have been ignored
I have lost all trust in this company and I would highly recommend that you avoid themI will definitely be advocating that employer stop using them tooHorrible experience! Never again
