Ali Baba Limousine Company

Review: Ali Baba was recommended by a coworker. I wanted to surprise my soon to be husband on our wedding day with a Range Rover because that is his favorite! What a horrible mistake that was. They do have unique limousines, however, that means nothing! They have horrible customer service skills and basically ruined my BIG day. The limo came to pick the men up from our house. The driver didn't even know he had a flat until my mother in law showed him. He was clueless, not well trained, and unexperienced. My husband and groomsmen were trying to trouble shoot and make calls when the driver was not doing anything to assist. The men had to drive to the church on their own because they were running out of time. As I was taking pictures, I found out the dilemma. I went inside and was very upset. I called Ali, the owner, and he was very heartless and crude. He did send 2 new limo's to church but they did not arrive until half way through mass. My bridesmaids, my mother and myself, in a big wedding gown, also had to drive to the church on our own. The next day I called and he kept saying he was losing out on the deal (maintenance of the flat, and sending 2 limo's out, gas, etc). He kept saying things happen and basically get over it. You need to be prepared for anything, especially for a wedding. When the driver was letting us out at our venue, I tipped $50, which I shouldn't have tipped anything after this incident. He questioned the tip and didn't leave right away. When I reserved the limo, Ali told me what to tip. At that moment, I told him I had a problem being told what to tip but would tip $100 or accordingly. He did agree and say he would take care of the rest. The next day after the wedding, I called and got no sympathy from Ali. He kept saying he lost money on the deal. He said the limo pulled up at our house in good condition and got a flat in our driveway. First of all, he did not park in the driveway and regardless, limo's should have a spare tire or back up plan in case problems occur. He was not able to fulfill his obligation. He offered a free limo for our anniversary in a year. NO thanks! He then agreed to pay half. Total price of limo was $950 +$50 tip. When I returned from our honeymoon, I had a credit of $425. He cheated me $50. Was that his way of getting the rest of his tip $? I am so disgusted and sick to my stomach thinking of this mess. On September 28th 2013 11:45am our Range Rover HSE Limousine arrived at the pickup address. The driver pulled in front of the house to wait for the bride and as he was parking a construction nail went in the brand new tire and resulted in a flat tire. The driver immediately called me. Because of the size of the Limousine [32 feet) it requires a mechanic and special jack to lift the car. I sent a mechanic right away to change the tire, which cost a total of $445.00 ($160 for mechanic road service and $285 for a new tire since the nail was very large and had destroyed the tire). At the same time I sent 2 limousines one similar to the one she ordered (Range Rover Sport which cost $1097) and an ESV Cadillac Escalade 20 passengers that cost $1380, which cost me the total of $2477. I should mention that Saturdays in September are the busiest time of our business. Addition to that I had to pay 3 drivers as well ($120 per driver total of $360) and over $180 for gas (3 limousines). They paid total of $950 for the limousine service. We gave them $425 back but they still asked for more money back. We gave them another $250 back for a total of $625; therefore they end up paying only $275 after I sent them 2 limousines to church to finish the job and transfer bride and groom including all of the wedding party.

I even called and apologized for the inconvenience. They not only didn't thank me but also blame me for the flat tire that happened in front of their house and was out of my control The limousine is like any other car and gets flat tire (it is not an armored car) the only difference is that it requires special jack to lift the car and a mechanic to do so.

I have been in this business for the past 30 years and customer satisfaction is very important to me.

Summary:

Original payment $950 Refunded $425 and $250 total $675 Therefore they only paid $275.

3 drivers $360 Gas for 3 limos $180

Paid for tire/road service $445 plus the cost of 2 extra limousines $2477 Total cost for our services and expenses $3462.
