This is in response to complaint # ***Mr*** showed up at 4:pm on Dec 13th to purchase a ft garage doorHe had a ft trailer that seemed adequate to hold a ft garage doorWe loaded his door up since we closed at 5:pm we loaded all sections on his trailer in one stackMr
*** rearranged the load after we had loaded it because he realized he had no ropes or straps to secure his loadWhen asked how far he was traveling his response to us was just around the cornerWhen he called us and told us that the doors were damaged he told us that he had delivered the doors to Gig Harbor which was not around the corner from us Mr*** said all sections had been damaged but when we loaded the trailer only sections were in contact with the trailerMy response to Mr*** was "you must have hit one hell of a bump to cause that much damage" Mr*** wanted us to take responsibility and replace all sections at costI explained to him that when you buy the whole door it is at a lower costI told him I would give him the best price that I could with minimal mark up but he did not want to accept thatAt no time was cost or price ever mentioned when we were talking, Mr*** did not want to listen and kept on stating that we were taking advantage of him and doubling the mark upMr*** insisted that it was our fault cause we loaded him up but in fact Mr*** rearranged the load with no straps or ropes and we are not responsible.Thank you,Scott M***
