Why am I paying 500 a month for an apartment complex without wifi? That should be included. I have lived in cheaper apartments that had wifi that was included. They say internet is included, but what they mean is internet access is included and you have to buy a router. Haha! What a joke! Makes me miss the Quarters. I will not be living here next year. I don't care how many amenities they have. Wifi is a must for a college student.

Like, seriously if the Quarters has wifi then so should the Verge. And not all of us are living off of mommy and daddy's money, some of us are living off of financial aid, so a router should be an unnecessary expense. So, I guess I will be living in the library on campus. Thanks, The Verge for nothing. I will be returning to the quarters next year or the university apartments.

Also, the apartments are cheaply built, I have seen and been in housing projects in ghettos that were built better than these apartments.

Would not sign another lease if the rent was free.

My son is a student at the University of *** and we were renting an apartment for him at the Verge with 2 other students. My son decided to come home to *** for the spring semester. I continued to make monthly rent payments until two months before our rental was up I found a person interested in renting the June and July 2019. I paid the Verge 200$ to screen the renter and make sure they were a qualified candidate. The Verge requested we return the apartment keys and that was done and the Verge received them 6/10 via *** tracking number and email conformation from them to me. I received a notice 7/5/2019 that the 250$ July rent had not been paid, at this point I reached out immediately on 7/5 to the Verge for feedback on what they will be doing for collecting this from the renter. The response from the Verge on 7/8/2019 2:04 pm was they had been in contact with the renter and would be getting the payment. At this point that was the final communication via email or any other method until August 5th 2019 when I was told there was a outstanding balance, I informed them there had been no communication about any outstanding balances or other business in almost 30 days and surely would have thought I'd been contacted if there was a problem. I receive a invoice via email from them for almost 700$ in charges which contained charges for keys which had been returned to them on 6/10, charges for removing bags of garbage, paint spills , 25 separate late charges and multiple cleaning charges. At this point I informed the Verge my son and another friend who was also a tenant of the apartment took a trip to *** on 7/30 2019 and personally inspected the apartment and that there were no bags of garbage, paint spills or extra cleaning need and they (the Verge) had the keys, they didn't know the apartment had been inspected by us when sending the invoice. I told them via email I would have no further dealings with them, since then I've received the same invoice via ***. This business is the *** operating as The Verge *** has a Revdex.com F rating and is located in ***.

Re: ***/Revdex.com Complaint ID: ***

Dear Mr.:

The *** LLC is the property manager and authorized agent for *** Apartments, LLC doing business as The Verge. On September 4, 2019, we received the Revdex.com letter dated August 26, 2019, regarding a complaint filed by ***.

The complainant in this matter, ***, is not a resident at The Verge community, which primarily serves college students attending the University of ***. Rather, he is the father of and guarantor for Mr. ***, an adult who was a resident at the community during the 2018-19 school year.

*** entered into a Housing Agreement dated April 17, 2018 (the “Housing Agreement”), for a bedroom space at The Verge. Mr. (“Primary Resident”) delegated his Housing Agreement to *** (“Delegate”) pursuant to the terms of a Delegation of Housing Agreement dated June 6, 2019 (the “Delegation”), and as a result the Delegate occupied the bedroom space previously occupied by the Primary Resident, subject to the terms of the Housing Agreement.

After the delegate vacated the apartment, the community’s staff conducted a thorough inspection of the assigned bedroom space and the apartment’s common areas. Our staff found that the damages to the common area walls were beyond normal wear and tear, and required painting. Staff members also discovered belongings that remained behind in the bedroom space. Additionally, when the Delegate vacated the apartment and bedroom space, he did not return any keys, as required. As such, appropriate charges were assessed to the account.
Under the Delegation, a copy of which is attached hereto, the Primary Resident remains “a party to and fully bound by” the Housing Agreement, personally responsible for all financial obligations arising thereunder and for any breach of the Housing Agreement by the Delegate. Therefore, when the July 1, 2019 rental installment due under the Housing Agreement and damage charges were not paid in a timely manner, The Verge notified Mr. of the delinquency on the account and of his continuing obligations under the Housing Agreement.
Broncos

The charges for all remaining items are reasonable and valid and, the community has assessed them as contractually agreed. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.Sincerely,

This is a Chicago based business "Scion" with a Revdex.com F rating.
Horrible customer service and arrogant management. Called the home with a issue and they never returned my call. Beware of company policies they want to enforce that are not in the contract!
They claim when responding to negative feedback that they have tried to reach out but have been unsuccessful, this is simply a lie. I can't believe this place is allowed to operate in the great state of Wyoming, Beware when doing business with this company
