Align Credit Union

I started a case last fall for two charges that my wife made. The company closed there store in Rockingham Mall which is 15 minutes from our home and told her she would have to go to Portland Maine, which is 2 hours from our home. I probably spent at least 8 hours on the phone with support in the Tampa office, disputing the charges to no avail. Support is not from Align, so I went to Align and talked to one of the supervisors who could not help. I then wanted to close my accounts with them which I have had for over 30 years. I was told I could not close them until I paid the credit card balance. We then got a call from the Lowell office saying they would look into it and not to pay the balance until we heard back from them. 30 days later and never heard back until I called again. She told me tough luck, the merchant would not give the credit and there was nothing she could do. I guess they don’t want to help customers and will only support the merchants.

My final payment will go through tomorrow and then I will close all of my accounts.

Tell us why here...Should there be an additional issue next month which we do not anticipate once the post offices resolves the mail issue, we will continue to work with Mr. [redacted].

We spoke to Mr. [redacted] on 8/28/2015 and mailed out the paper statements requested. I confirmed today that he is slated for paper by mail statements and that the address on file is accurate. We will mail him the statement he has not received.
