Mr [redacted] had logged onto our website to purchase a partThe website clearly states the following in regards to the part he was interested in: "This part is not currently in stock, but it may be availablePlease click on the button below to contact us and we will get back to you within one business day with a price and availability." Mr [redacted] then proceeded to contact a representative at Alinc Technologies, who then informed Mr [redacted] of a definitive answer regarding availability, stating these exact words via email (documented): "Thank you for contacting us, the part ( [redacted] ) you’re trying to purchase is no longer availableIf there is anything else we can do for you, please let me know."Alinc Technologies did not "invite" Mr [redacted] to purchase any item from the websiteHe logged onto our website and tired to purchase at his own free will The customer did not receive a confirmation number because he or she was never charged for the product, and the order could not be processed due to availability As it is common in the ecommerce industry for a product to be out of stock on occasion; unfortunately, this is exactly what happened to Mr***Alinc Technologies was simply out of stock on the particular item Mr [redacted] was looking for Although we do apologize for the inconvenience, there was no "bait and switch tactic" as the customer would like to claim The website clearly states if an item may or may not be availableWe at Alinc Technolgies strive to bring the best customer service possible, which includes being very clear and honest about the product we offer to the best of our ability
