Review: 2 yrs I bought 5 yds of 3/4 inch stone from Ali's for my in-ground pool area. I contacted them again in April 2013. During the call I confirmed that it was the same stone. The clerk looked up the order, and insisted it was the same batch as previously ordered. They had no new shipments since then, so it was the exact "same stone" I placed an order (2 yd min)on Tues Apr 30. with a deliver date of Thurs, May 2, 2013. My cc was chgd April 30, 2013. They delivered on Weds. May 1. and "just left it" without confirmation that it was correct. The stone appeared to be correct, so there was no need for a complaint. 2 weeks later we started laying the stone.The top layer of rock was correct, but the bottom was a MUCH SMALLER (approx 1/2 the size) and does NOT blend with the stone already there. We immediately stopped the help from laying once we noticed this. I contacted the owner ([redacted]?) of the nursery. I explained and asked him to please come out so we can resolve. He didn't call back. I called the next afternoon (Sun). He apologized, said it was the wrong rock altogether. He said would be out the next day (Mon) to discuss. On Monday, I stayed home from work to meet with him. No Call/No Show. I called/emailed again that evening he never called back. I called again on Tuesday. The clerk did not want to get him at first, but I insisted I would hold. Finally, he got on the phone. I asked what happened and why he didn't show. He had no response. I then told tell him that I stayed home from work to meet with him and he said I was RIDICULOUS for doing so. I was appalled. He then said he had people at the counter, he would call me right back. That was nearly a week ago. I have had to dispute the chgs with bank, hire a company to fix the incorrect rock in pool area, AND hire someone to remove rock in yard. As a biz owner myself,and mom of 3 boys(one of which, was injured in Afghanistan during combat)I am completely disgusted and appalled at the lack of professionalism and compassion this company has.

Desired Settlement: I had to dispute the charges with the credit card company. I do however want to be reimbursed for the removal of the pile of rock still in my driveway AND reimbursement for the costs to remove and replace the incorrect stone already placed.

In an effort to resolve this with the business. I did post the same complaint on their [redacted] page about a week ago. It was deleted 10 minutes later and they blocked my access to their page. They have not contacted, called or emailed. They didn't even issue the credit on the card!

Mrs. [redacted] claim is completly unfounded. She ordered stone from us 2 years ago. She called and reordered in May 2013. We Delivered item # 25 3/4 tricolor wich she ordered and ordered 2 years ago. Thats as far as it goes. We did not tell her or I did not tell her it was the wrong stone or that I would be out on Monday. We have been in business 30 years and have not had any complaints and as far as the embellishing, she was very difficult to deal with and unprofessional.

This is an outright lie and perjury. I have a recorded conversation between myself and the owner [redacted] where he clearly admitted to the wrong product being delivered and agreeing to meet me on Monday to pick up the incorrect stone. I also have the conversation from Tuesday May 18th, the day after he was suppose to come pick up the rock. In that conversation, I asked him if he always blows his clients off? I also told him I was upset it was their error, and had taken a day off from work to meet with him. He said I was ridiculous for doing so.I then told him what I thought of his attitude and shady business and hung up. Please let me know where the conversations can be sent to. I can have my attorney forward for your records.

Review: I purchased 14x 6-7ft [redacted] including delivery and planting on May 18th, 2013 over the phone which included a 1 year warranty. My charge card was billed immediately for $2,196.52 and I was told to expect the trees within a couple weeks. I did not receive the trees until either late July or early August after several calls for updates. So about 10 weeks later than I was expecting. The day the trees were finally planted, I came home and immediately noticed that one of them was extremely lower quality than the other 13. I cared for the trees as instructed but within 2-3 weeks this tree had obviously wilted, changed to an orange brown color and died. I called Ali's and explained this and [redacted] said they would come out and replace the tree. I called 2 weeks later when no one showed up or called me to tell me when to expect the replacement. I was given the runaround but [redacted] told me the tree would be out in the next week or so. Again nothing from them so I call them again, this time [redacted] told me they were done for the season and I would have to wait until Mid-May 2014 for my replacement. Despite my anger at this response and told that a refund for that tree was not an option I had nothing else to do other than wait, being told that I am on the replacement list and it would be handled next year. Fast forward to this year I called [redacted] in early May to find out when to expect my tree, referencing the replacement list. He told me they have to complete their new orders first and that there is a backlog in getting these trees, same story I was given when my original trees showed up 10 weeks late. I called again a couple weeks later, [redacted] stopped taking my calls at this point and had the person who answered the phone tell me the tree is coming but they don't know when. I 100% fully believe they have no intention of ever standing by their 1 year warranty. It is now June 26th, a full 13 months after they happily took my money for this order. I do not know what else to do.Desired Settlement: I would've happily taken the replacement tree but I have no faith that this company would follow through or that if they did, I would receive the quality of tree that I paid for. $2196 divided by 14 trees, take out $10 for tax, $146 for the tree/delivery/planting is what I believe I am due.
