Rude doesn't even begin to describe the treatment we received as customers. I took my bridesmaids to Alison's to find their bridesmaid dresses, and figured it would be nice to go to a local shop. After ordering the dress in March (or so I thought) the dresses weren't even ordered till the end of July and we did not receive them until mid August! My wedding was in September and we were told we would have the dresses in by mid July. Whenever the dresses finally came in, only two of the five fit correctly, and the other three were at least two sizes too big and needed massive amounts of alterations. My one bridesmaid called the store and said that she needed a guarantee that her dress would fit by that following Wednesday as she was going back to college and wouldn't be home again until the wedding.. The associate responded to her "well god forbid it's not done by Wednesday." When I went to speak with Alison about the very rude associate and horrible measurements, she said "what about the two that fit?".. Well congrats.. 2 out of 5. Then proceeded to tell me that we signed off of the sizes when we ordered them.. Yes because we are supposed to trust your professional opinion. We are not seamstresses. On top of this I said I was so disgusted with her business and attitude that I would be calling the Revdex.com on her and not recommending her to a single person I knew because word of mouth travels faster than anything.. Her response was "what's one customer." I am disgusted by this business. DO NOT GO HERE.

Review: I placed a rental order through this business for a short vest and bow tie. Nether the vest not the tie were correct when they came. I received a standard full length vest and Windsor tie. The business refused even a partial refund for delivering the wrong products.Desired Settlement: Partial refund to cover my expenses in acquiring the correct item hours before the wedding.

This letter is in response to our letter of August 24, 2015, wherein [redacted] flied a complaint for an incident that allegedly occurred on August 21, 2015. Mr. [redacted] ordered a *Windsor tie” and “vest through our business, The Tux Shop. Our vest from our distributor, [redacted], comes in one standard length. They do not carry a “short vest.” Further, the formal wear was delivered on the Tuesday prior to the event. We called him the next day, Wednesday, and he appeared to pick up his order. His invoice did not show either a bow tie or a short vest. He complained about the item after event when be returned the items the following Monday. Had he inspected the items and advised us of his complaint, we would have been glad to overnight anything he would have desired. Instead, he chose to complain after he worn the items and then demanded a reflund, to which he is not entitled. Alison’s Bridal and The Tux Shop have been in business since October2001 and we have had an excellent record with our customers over the last 14 years. We strongly dispute his claims and do not believe be is entitled to any refund based upon the above set of facts. Sincerely, Alison *. C[redacted] Owner
