NOT RECOMMENDED: I can not more strongly indicate that people should not hire *** and *** (which goes by Acosta Roofing on this site) to do work on house. To itemize the issues we had with them in brief:

1. Caused ceiling in kitchen to collapse due to negligent workers stepping on ceiling from above when sub-floor was open on 2nd floor. When *** was notified of the sagging floor, prior to collapse, he didn't make time to immediately address
2. Improper roofing material installation which caused massive leaks in living room, caused mold growth and required ceiling to be pulled down and re-installed (which we had to do ourselves and with a different contractor). When *** was notified he ignored the fact that the roofing material was obviously incorrectly installed, unknown to us until later when we contacted the manufacturer. He insisted that it was dormer window that was leaking not his roof to be later refuted via tests. Roofing material had ot be pulled off an new roof applied. We did not let *** do this work as he had done so many things incorrectly. We had to hire another contractor.

3. Poor installation of sub floor on 2nd floor to include gaps in floor, squeaking boards, unlevel surfaces, damaged baseboards. *** had to send a second crew, to rip everything out and do it again. This only happened after we asked him multiple times to look at the poor installation. *** did not, on his own, come and inspect any of the work his team did.
4. Not following the Norfolk City Code and pouring footings without a pre-inspection as required by the city and also starting work without a permit.

5. Worker had his girlfriend in my home when no one else was there. I came home to find them there.
