Ms*** informed All 100% Auto Sales of the check engine light needing repair. She was informed to bring the vehicle back for the sensor to be replaced. The customer has failed to bring the vehicle back or drop off the vehicle for repair as instructed by staff. If she would
like the repair done she can feel free to drop the vehicle off during scheduled business hours

This customer and her mechanic had full knowledge of the issues that were going on with the car prior to signing the bill of sale and title. We explained in full detail what the car needed and even directed the customer to...

other cars with less miles and zero issues but she chose the car she bought anyways. Her response to our explanation was, " I'm not worried about that, I have my own mechanic that can take care of it for me." The next day after her mechanic supposedly looked at the vehicle she told us that her mechanic said that the job was to big for him and that he couldn't do it. The customer then came back to the dealership not to return the car but asked us to help in the matter. The mechanic on duty did quote her a labor cost of $200. I personally over saw the attempted repair. This job involves resetting the timing belt on the vehicle. The mechanic made a full attempt to get the job completed but only made it 1/4 the way through the job, never even got into the timing case were the pump is located. We are not a full service repair shop and unfortunately lack the tools to complete a job of this caliber. The mechanic informed me he tried his best but can't proceed further with the job. I informed the customer of this and referred her to a full service repair facility that could get the job done quick and efficient. Unfortunately the price was 3 times more than what my mechanic on duty quoted her. The job was really that big. We tried to assist the customer at the cheapest cost out of kindness because our vehicles are sold as-is with zero undisclosed problems. There was nothing more we could do. We didn't force her to buy it or lie to her or her boyfriend or her mechanic that was helping her with the  purchase in any way shape or form. Yes I did inform the customer that at this point in the matter she must take responsibility for her purchase and pay the cost of the repairs to get it done right. The customer then called the dealership maybe a month after and stated she finally got the car repaired but lacked funds to pay her sales tax to register the car. She then requested another temp tag. I informed the customer that we could not provide another temp tag due to Missouri state regulations. I explained in full detail that the expiration of the tag is computer generated based off the date of purchase. Also informed the customer that we fully comply with Missouri state sales reporting requirements and have already notified the state of Missouri of her purchase date and the only way to get her another tag would be to change the purchase date which is against the rules of the state of Missouri. This enraged the customer and she began making false claims about the circumstances of the required repairs on the vehicle. I did tell the customer there was no point in going back and forth about a matter that has already resolved. She wanted to yell and have an argument about it but that's wasn't necessary. I did empathize with her and let her know that if it was up to me personally I would give her another temp tag because All 100% Auto Sales aims to assist every customer in the best way possible. I let her know its state regulations that prevent me from giving it to her not a lack of assistance on the company behalf. All 100% Auto Sales complys with all state regulations. She hung up the phone and I suppose made this complaint.
