Acknowledgement of Claim: 07-12-
Upon investigation, All Aboard Movers is found not negligent with your missing box. Unfortunately, we have no account of this box and have an executed contract stating “all inventory received”
Per your contact thru phone, company explained we have no agreements to replace any loss or damaged items. Company also explained if found at fault that we will offer what our contract states we had together
We apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused you and hope that you will continue to use our services in the future
“A claimant has the right to seek mediation through TXDMV within days (excluding Sundays and nationally recognized holidays) after any portion of the claim is denied by the carrier, the carrier makes a firm settlement offer that is no acceptable to the claimant, or days has elapsed since the carrier received the claim and the claim has not been resolved.”

This is my 3rd time using All Aboard Movers and they are wonderful. They are reliable, professional, and get the job done.

stated,  “"If needed," to

acknowledging this “Receipt of Claim,” to include available times during a full
7 day week to schedule an appointment for inspection.  We must receive this in our office to
continue claim if company request inspection.”  You submitted what we needed in your claim and
that was sufficient, so we did not request an inspection date.     If you feel you made a mistake in your claim please let us
know.  As I stated in our letter  on October 7, we are here to work
together.    Concerning lamp, unfortunately it was left on truck, as on
some occasions small unboxed miscellaneous items do get left behind.  I am sorry you brought this lamp to my
attention before my crew did.

I am rejecting this response because:
When I first contacted Justin at All Aboard Movers and I told him we were missing a lamp ( as well as the breakage that occurred) he made no mention that he had the lamp or that it was broken or left on the truck. I was told he would look into it. I have yet to see the lamp to see what the damage is or even if it is repairable. He lied to us. It took him 48 hours from the time of the move to get back with me and then told me that the lamp was broken. I was asked to in writing give him an estimate of costs to replace the lamp and to repair or replace the other items which I did. He never mentioned that I would be offered a per pound settlement for the items. Why did he not say anything at this point about the settlement instead of having me give him an estimate on all the items? The reason we feel he did this was that he would have had to refund about half of what we paid for the move in compensation for what was stolen)the lamp) or broken.
I have moved numerous times in my life and I have NEVER dealt with such an unscrupulous company. He told us they were fully insured and bonded. $33 Just does not cover ANYTHING that we complained about at all.
