Review: on 4/14/14 I had All about auto glass ([redacted] auto glass) come to my home to install a new windshield in my 2013 Honda Accord. I paid $250 as the company collected $250 from my insurance (state farm). Installer chipped lower plastic where bottom of glass fits into on a brand new car. Upon getting in my car (about 7 days later due to a surgery) I noticed that the glass was warped in the middle and it was making a whistling noise. After I recovered from my surgery I figured I'd give them a call to have them come back out since it was covered under a "lifetime warranty". 6/9/14 they finally came back out and the owner was not happy about it at all. It was himself (I was refused his name when I called to get it) and his brother maybe? He wore glasses. The owner told me he could not guarantee that this piece of glass would not be warped, I then made a comment that if it was then we would have to change it again. He did not like that at all and started raising his voice and every other word was "[redacted]", I did ask him not to speak to me like that (the whole time I'm holding my calm demeanor) so I suggested that he just deal with my husband at that point, he said "I don't give a [redacted] about your husband Im not scared of him" which was not my intent, the owner started to scare me. Then he started to walk off the job and told me to take him to court he didn't care. My husband showed up and calmly spoke to this guy and the windshield was fixed.until 6/26/14 as I was coming back from Idaho the seal around the top of the windshield came undone. It will not pop back in or stay in due to the fact that for some odd reason the glue is STILL not dry. I am afraid to call them back for fear of retaliation from him because he was a very mean angry person. When I called today 6/30/14, the person who answered the phone said he is not allowed to give the owners name out. This whole thing has been a nightmare. I am afraid to drive especially with my children in the car.Desired Settlement: I would like this company to refund my money so I can take it to a reputable company to fix it and I would also like for them to pay for Honda to replace the plastic piece that the installer chipped during first installation. My car is a year old. He said it would have chipped eventually due to ware on it from the sun.maybe in the next 15-20 years but not anytime soon I think.

Hello. I am the owner of All About Auto Glass. I went back to the customers house to see about a complaint of a warped windshield. I looked for the warp and told the lady I could not see it and that I could not simply replace the windshield unless something was evident. She was being rude and told me to replace it anyway. I informed her once again that I had to physically see the defect before I could go further, She was loud and rude to the point where I told her I could no longer stay and had to leave. Her husband then showed up and was being aggressive toward me saying that I was cussing at his wife which was not the case. I did get upset after her continued loud behavior that I did say the F word, but not toward her. I apologized that to the husband and he still seemed like he wanted to fight or something. Eventually we calmed down and I decided to change the windshield out, even though there was no need. I did it for customer service. It took me a battle of my own to get the manufacturer to take the old windshield back because they couldn't see anything wrong with it. After I gave into them and replaced it, they issued no complaints to me. I highly doubt if the molding on top came loose. If it did, we have no problem sealing it back down. I heard no complaints from them to me about a broken piece of plastic. They have a beautiful windshield in their car that they accepted. I asked the husband to look at the 2nd windshield and he said that it looked perfectly fine, now they want their money back because of a loose $10 molding? I will fix the top molding which is minimal cost, but they will not get money back for their windshield. They signed the paperwork that it was fine. I have the original copy with their signature on it that the work was satisfactory to them. They just want a free windshield and I'm not giving it to them. I will address other complaints from them, but as far as the windshield itself is concerned, there is no problem. By the way they signed the paperwork that said any further work that needed to be done after the initial installation needed to be brought to the shop. It's on the back with their warranty. I however went around that, and drove to their home to fix it so they wouldn't have to go out of their way. Thanks.. [redacted], owner..
