Initial Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2015/10/22) */
The customer entered into a contract with All About Cabinets & Countertops (AACC) on May 27th
There was an issue with the edging on customers vanity countertop that was subsequently fixed immediately by AACC at no additional cost to the
customerSans that, every issue, problem, and two months of delays with this job were solely and completely due to the customers contractorCustomers contractor was hostile, threatening, and inappropriate with both AACC workers, and employeesWe have saved texts, e-mails, and voicemails which will detail the utterly despicable behavior of customers contractor
AACC informed customer via e-mail on July 10th that we do not tolerate such behavior from customers or their representatives and desired to cancel the balance of the contract and provide them with the remaining pieces
Customers husband contacted AACC, apologized for contractors actions, and wanted to complete the contractAACC decided it was best to complete the balance of the contract
After completion of the contract, customer contacted the manufacturing yard directly, arranged to pick up the remaining piece, and picked it upCustomer had actually discussed the size of the piece with AACC's fabrication shop prior to sending someone down to pick it up and had no issues at that time
The piece received by the customer was the appropriate size and from the original slabAACC can provide the detailed cut sheets of how the very large vanity and two additional foot pieces were cutThere is waste, saw cuts, and corners of raw slabs that have to be cut around when manufacturing graniteCustomer is actually very fortunate to have the size piece they do currently
If customer is unhappy with the piece of stone, they can come in person to the manufacturing yard between the hours of 8:30am and Noon M-F and hand select a piece of Santa Cecilia (there are quite a few)that is roughly the size that is requested (X 26)Customer will need to return the current piece in their possession prior to or at the same time they pick up the hand selected pieceCustomer will of course need to sign off that the hand selected piece is acceptable
If customer desires to keep the piece currently in their possession, they will need to pay AACC fair market value for that piece prior to picking up the hand selected piece
We would request customer contact the AACC office at XXX XXX-XXXX as to the time they would like to go to the manufacturing facilityThis way AACC can make sure they are expecting the customer
Also, for the Revdex.com record, customer has never contacted the AACC office via phone, e-mail, text, or otherwise to discuss their complaintHad AACC known about this complaint directly from customer, the same resolution would have been offeredAACC main office has had no prior knowledge of this complaint up to receipt of the Revdex.com case fileAny assertion by customer that they tried to resolve this complaint prior to filing a Revdex.com complaint is not accurate
Thank You for you attention to this matter

Customer sent an e-mail on 3-24 inquiring if his contractor had contacted our office regarding the missing parts.  This was the day after the "blizzard".  As with most businesses, we closed early that day and most employees had difficulty getting to work the next day.  This put us...

behind and consequently we didn't respond to customers e-mail in a timely manner.   Customer called on 3-28 wanting to speak with his salesperson.  Salesperson did not respond and customer filed the complaint on 3/30.  Since the complaint was filed, customer has been contacted, all materials requested are ordered, and will be shipped to customer directly via fed ex at no charge to customer.  Attached is a copy of the order.  Materials will ship on April 11th.  All About Cabinets & Countertops prides itself on it's customer service and apologizes to customer for not responding quickly to his attempts to contact his salesperson.  For the record, customers contractor was hired independently by customer and has no affiliation, association, and is not employed by All About Cabinets & Countertops.  Thank You.
