oil and grease tracked onto my carpet4/15/15 scheduled appointment to do a garage door tune up. Work was completed per the [redacted] purchase. Problem was caused by using too much spray oil to lube the garage door and opener. Overnight a big blob of black oil and grease dripped on to the garage floor, and when the grandkids came for a visit, they tracked oil and grease onto my carpets, when I called to complain and ask them to pay for carpet spot clean, I was told that this couldn't happen and I was on my own for the carpet. I even asked them to come back and look at the problem and they were not interested at allDesired SettlementRefund $94 ($49 paid to [redacted], and $45 paid to them for a spring adjustment. It cost me $149 to get the carpet cleaned. And I just want the $94 returned Business Response lets start and say this is first time seeing this. the home owner waited two days to contact us about the problem. first we do not use black grease, we use a spray lube that in fact does loosen any grime or grease that had been applied by the home owner. when he called to complain about this I did tell him the same thing and was told to go F___ myself and he hung up/ I did not here any more until [redacted] contacted me and I agreed to refund the $31.80 that I made on the job, the home owner accepted this. I am sorry this happened but do not feel responsible for the actions of him applying the black grease nor the action of his grand children.
