***, ***, my sales manager has been making me aware of your situation and I am not avoiding you In fact, I am quite open to working with you [redacted] emailed you two times yesterday to let you know I would be contacting you I still do not have the model number which I requested from you, I need a receipt as the insurance company is not going to go on word of mouth We cannot get any results without some facts Until that is provided, my hands are tied The insurance company is not going to take your word that the dresser was bought a year ago As soon as you get me the information I can get an insurance adjuster involved Sincerely, [redacted]

we moved ms grace into storage on 9/10/she was only suppose to be there for two weeks and it ended up being four months.we moved ms grace out of storage to her new home in December to new York.I explained to ms grace that the only tine her unit was opened was when I myself let her and her
girlfriend in because she wanted to see her unitI told her I could get a record of this from the storage facilityall the items in the unit was put into the truck and delivered to herthe forman on the load said that she had left a lot of things back at the apartment that she moved out ofwhen she called me about her missing clothes and linens I informed her of these facts but she denied it saying that nothing was left in the apartmentshe had so much stuff I told her maybe she should go back to the place she moved out of or look at her new place for things that she couldn't find because they had probably been brought there by her and maybe she did not rememberI tried to give her suggestions about it but she got very defensive and said she was getting nowhere with me and hung up

I had previously told them that I don't have the original receipt*** said she would cover half the cost of damaging the dresser but that hasn't happened either

The client is more then welcome to come check out all our storage units and the one she had all her items in We have no reason to keep someone used clothing or furniture We have no desire for it and no use for it The unit she had her items in was completely emptied I have to pay for those units so it is has no value for our company to keep unwanted items in a storage unit and then pay for it *** the team leader who moved the client clearly noted that client left a lot, and he said ''A LOT'' of items behind in the residence the client had moved from There were boxes and bags left and furniture items The client clearly needs to go back to the place they moved from and go through it and take what ever they are missing or call there old landlord There is nothing, absolutely nothing left of the clients in our storage unit We cannot give back what we do not have If the client wishes, she can speak with *** the team leader to inform her of what she left at her old residenceSincerely, *** ***

After conversing with our Sales Agent who handled ***'s booking, our sales agent explained how *** spent a great deal of time on the phone constantly talking about how every moving company who ever moved her ripped her off or stole from herOne of the moving companies she mentioned who
stoled from her we are good friends with and it is a very reputable and honest run companyHer clenching accusations made us somewhat hesitant in proceeding with moving her, however, our sales agent felt it would be fine knowing we would never do anything of that nature We searched our truck for all the client claimed she was missing and found nothingI talked to the movers and they clearly knew where they had placed some of the items *** could not find*** was provided this informationOur sales person explained to her that no one would want to steal her shelves, vacuum cleaner attachments or coffee table wheels ***'s case worker was at the move and saw clearly that everything was on the truck and left nothing at her original residence as the case worker suggested that the movers leave the vacuum cleaner and *** insisted that everything gets movedThe two wheels to her coffee table was mailed to her on the week of her move At the very end of the move, my team leader called me to report the move was completed and *** grabbed the phone from him and told me what a fantastic job the movers did and she was extremely happy
We are an integral and honest moving company And our goal is to make people have a comfortable and happy experience There is no way that we have any of her shelves or vacuum cleaner parts or items In spirit of cooperation we will credit *** $50.00.

Although I appreciate the response and the offer to pay me $100.00.  I am rejecting this because the POD was responsible for one of the legs falling off of my entertainment center.  It was the movers that was responsible for the rest of the damage.  While they were attempting to bring it back into the house the movers were the ones that was banging it into the walls in the hallway and the movers were the ones who caused that damage.  This did not come from the POD.  Also, my mother's small entertainment center/TV stand did not get damaged in the POD all of the damage it received was a result of the movers bringing it back into our apartment/house and dropping it on the stairs, and banging it on the walls.  Let me also add that the first set of movers that moved our furniture out of the house and into the POD did in fact use the security straps in part of the POD.  They did not secure my entertainment center, but everything else was securely packed to my knowledge.

to whom it may concern:first of all, no one refused to pay for the damage done to the piece, and there was a lot of issues with this move involving family members interfering with the movers and saying things to them as they were trying to move the furniture.it was in the garage for a few weeks...

because when we called to set up a time to have another team come and hoist it into the new apartment, we were told that they were going to be away and would call when they arrived home.I spoke to mrs poisy when she had given us an estimation which I thought was high. I was quoted $400, not $620.I will see if I can find another company to give an estimation, if not I will give the $400 which was quoted from mrs poisy. Thank You,[redacted]

I just read the response from All about moving, and again I must clarify to say that my furniture was not damaged inside the pod.  The MOVERS DAMAGED OUR FURNITURE!  When they attempted to take my entertainment center into my house/apartment they were the ones that was banging and bumping it into the wall not pods.  also, when they took our television stand into the house/apartment, again they were the ones that broke the top off of it not pods.  Lastly, the MOVERS were the ones that put packing/masking/ or whatever tape that they used on my bureau and when they removed it they were the ones that caused the damage.  None of this was the result of the POD.  The only damage that came from the pod was when the movers took the entertainment center out of the pod one of the legs fell off, this was due to the pod and this was the only damage that came from the pod nothing else.  When you own a business and damage is caused by your employees then you as the business owner should be willing to take steps to rectify the situation, and not try to pass it off on someone else.  Your response to my complaint was to blame it on PODS and you stated that there are numerous complaints about them, but there are also complaints about All about Moving as well.  I would like someone to contact me to help me with this, as I am not sure what the next step for me would be.  I am certainly looking for compensation for my damage furniture, but since I already had it; I am not sure what the cost would be.  Thank you,[redacted]

to whom it may concern:I am taking the blame for the tape on the drawers but because the furniture was shifted around when the pod company moved the pod back and forth to the residence causing the furniture to come loose and come apart when we attempted to move it I can not take the blame for that because when the furniture was placed in the pod it was fine.I am willing to give back $100 for the tape marks on the dresser as a show of good faith.thank you[redacted]

what a Liar never Received of Sheveles, this a Rotten Place Pats Place was Better just got Dvd Stoled and [redacted] Paid for his Mistakes, nothing Broking, and Damaged, I said thats because didn't know Right away, they were Movers From Hell, never Received no Wheels God Damm Liar, wish you never Moved me, I had others and would of been better too, WHY Takes The Wheels Off, they have to Be Crazy, Huffing and Puffing couldnt handle the job, even [redacted] Said they Were Rotten, Im going to Court, you will received a letter from the Courts

Please add your rejection comments below. I know what I left behind. fairly new washer/dryer (lg capacity ones & quite expensive, all kitchen appliances, extra fridge and large table for folding cloths, etc in basement. I did not leave my personal linens, 2 wool hooked expensive rugs, my summer clothing, great grandfather wooden candle stick holders, dinner utensils, Christmas ornaments (expensive ones, saved over 40 yrs for family,  holder for tree, ironing board, (did get iron) kitchen broom/dust broom & pan, baking pans cookie sheets. I think there is a real possibility that when movers put things into the storage space  they filled it so tight (I went there, as [redacted] said) that they either put rest of my things into another storage unit or, just got rid of it. I have had to purchase at a lot of expense these items.  Finally, I was not rude to [redacted] or any of his employees, although he was the only person  from all about moving who was arrogant.   Regards, [redacted]
