*** *** arrived at our office on July 22, with the belief that she had a scheduledappointmentWe did not have her on our schedule but attempted to gather some information todetermine if we could accommodate herShe became disruptive and used profanitiesWe asked her toleave.She then
called our Scheduling Team and after being told that she could not be seen because of herconduct in the office, became aggressive and again used obscenities.We regret this action is necessary however we are a family practice, seeing multiple children, andcannot permit this behavior

The office never tried to obtain information to accommodate my situation. They refused to see me on the scheduled date and the scheduling team even stated it was their own error. However, the office had contacted them and refused further service. I was very upset with the practice and the scheduling team because I had to drive over an hr away for this appointment. Not once did any one of them try to apologize for the inconvenience or for their error. Instead of taking responsibility for the fact this was their error they went on to blame me as the patient for their lack of interpersonal and scheduling skills. I am not to blame and they need to learn to take responsibility for the fact that they made an error and never tried to contact me as the patient to rectify the situation. I know this company had my information before I even made the hr long trip. I had given them all the demo-graphical and insurance information they needed. This could have been avoided with a courtesy call to me the patient before I ever left my home. However, that was not how this situation was handled. My attitude may or may not have been poor however, my attitude reflected their poor quality of service.

Review: I called All About Smiles on July 8, 2015 to schedule an appointment for a right bottom wisdom tooth extraction due to severe pain and bleeding of the gums; along with the temporal mandible joint making cracking sounds. The appointment was scheduled for July 22, 2015 at 4:30 pm and I was to arrive by 4:15 pm. I was to bring my insurance card, a valid photo ID, and a list of medications and allergies. I was present at All About Smiles at 4:10 pm after getting lost. I entered the building and signed in. I was asked who I was and I stated I am a new patient and my name is [redacted]. I was informed I was a no show for my appointment. I asked how could that be when my appointment isn't until 4:30 pm and I was to be here by 4:15 pm. Which I am here, and the receptionist stated I am sorry (with an attitude)we can reschedule you but we are booked. The receptionists was argumentative with me and very rude. It was not my fault someone messed up and didn't schedule my appointment correctly. I was where I was supposed to be when I was supposed to be there. I then stated this is crap I have a sick baby at home and just drove a hour and fifteen minutes to make this appointment. I then called the number I had originally called which is ###-###-#### at which point they informed me that somewhere someone messed up and I could not be rescheduled for the Monaca location due to my conduct of responding to the rude receptionist, and Monaca is the only location close to do a wisdom tooth extraction. I am very dissatisfied with the way I was treated and the fact that no one cared about the inconvenience this caused myself or my family. My boyfriend missed work for this appointment, too. Which means he had to take a pay cut for this week. The last $20 we had went into gas to make this appointment.Desired Settlement: I would appreciate a new appointment to receive the care that was originally to take place. With the assessment being done to acquire the appropriate dental decision on the extraction of the bottom right wisdom tooth. I also would like to be treated with respect as this wasn't my doing but theirs.
