Dr*** is the worst medical "professional" I've ever been to I called at am to set up an appointment because I have a molar that needs pulled They told me to come in at I got there at 9: They finally got me set up in a room at 11: I waited until 12:when Dr*** finally came inI asked how much longer it would be because I've been waiting for about hours now and he said "Well it's gonna be a longer wait for you now." And then he walked out I went and asked one of the ladies who runs the front desk about this issue and she tried to assure me that his attitude had nothing to do with me and that something must have happened with a previous patient She told me to go have a seat and an aide will be right there to assist me minutes later an aide came in and told me they wouldn't be able to treat me today I asked her if it's because I made the dentist mad and she tried to convince me that they were just so busy and couldn't fit me in She said they weren't expecting to do an extraction today....even though I called at am and told them about the issue I was havingThen she informs me that the DrWill write me a prescription for painkillers and an antibiotic and they wouldn't bill me or my insurance like they were doing me a favor! I have never been so mistreated by a medical professional and will not go back It's such a shame because I really like the girls in the office and Dr*** who's the other dentist but Dr*** has completely ruined this place for me If you go, make sure you make an appointment with Dr***!!! Mr*** is completely unprofessional and petty
When we finally got dental insurance this month I quickly made an appointment at All About Smiles with Dr*** I went in and the assistant took a few x-rays and then "cleaned" my teeth with a grainy-type paste (which I later learned was the polish that is supposed to go on after an actual cleaning- flossing, scraping, etcNone of that ever happened)A few minutes later, Dr*** came in and spent literally minutes with meHe looked in my mouth and said, "Looks good! Just keep doing what you're doing." I was shocked! It had been years since I've been to a dentist! So I stopped him and asked "Wait, so I don't have any cavities?!" And again he said, "No, looks good! Keep doing what you're doing!" I felt bewildered but relieved as I made a month check up appointmentWhen I got out to the car, I was stumped and felt in my gut that something wasn't rightI decided to try and fit in a second opinion quickly and headed straight to another office and apologetically asked them to take a quick lookI told them I wasn't trying to say Dr*** didn't know what he was doing, but I just wanted to have a little peace of mind and wanted to know for sureThe dentist came in and after about minutes of poking and prodding and listing of all sorts of codes to his assistant, sat puzzled on how ANYone could've missed all the cavities in my mouthHe took some pictures so I could see and it was awfulSeveral cavities in VERY obvious places (full on holes in the side of my tooth, deep cavities in my molars, and a few in between teeth)I was relieved I got a second opinion and very upset that Dr*** didn't do his jobThere is no excuse for missing those obvious things and for not having an actual cleaningI'm grateful they listened and deleted my insurance claim, and I sincerely hope this was an honest mistakeThe more I think about it though, the more I'm sure they could've done moreI hope they take extra caution and do their job more thoroughly with other patients
