This is my response to See Changs complaintTo start out, See claimed I worked on her daughter's hair for hours which is incorrectI worked on her daughter's hair as well as her aunt's hair both at the same which was the initial agreementSo doing two clients at once will take longer then if it was just one client which they were aware ofSecondly See wasnt present at the consultation I had with her daughter in which we discussed our optionsWe decided on colors other then the ones in the initial picture she brought inWhen See came to pick up her daughter I smiled and welcomed her into my salonShe was very rude and didnt acknowlege me but instead started accusing me of not knowing what I was doingI was in the process of trimming her daughter's hair and had to ask her to back away because she was standing in my personal space and not allowing me to be able to finish my workShe then started yelling at me so I asked her to step out of my salonShe did, but then returned and started demanding a full refundI politely told her my policy is no refunds, but if they weren't satisfied they could return free of charge for a different serviceShe would not accept my offer but said she would not leave my salon unless I gave her a refundI again reminded her of my policy, but she then suggested calling the copsSo I did callThey arrived and told her that she needed to adhere by my policiesSince that time she has been trying to destroy my reputation by "warning" people online not to get their hair done by meAnd even going as far as to post a photo of my facebook name, photo and information to warn people telling them I am a scam

was just one client which they were aware of. Secondly See wasnt present at the consultation I had with her daughter in which we discussed our options. We decided on colors other then the ones in the initial picture she brought in. When See came to pick up her daughter I smiled and welcomed her into my salon. She was very rude and didnt acknowlege me but instead started accusing me of not knowing what I was doing. I was in the process of trimming her daughter's hair and had to ask her to back away because she was standing in my personal space and not allowing me to be able to finish my work. She then started yelling at me so I asked her to step out of my salon. She did, but then returned and started demanding a full refund. I politely told her my policy is no refunds, but if they weren't satisfied they could return free of charge for a different service. She would not accept my offer but said she would not leave my salon unless I gave her a refund. I again reminded her of my policy, but she then suggested calling the cops. So I did call. This is a response to [redacted]'s complaint. I did not offer [redacted] a refund for her service because all my sales are final, but allowed her to come in two times after her first session free of charge to do something different. As [redacted] knows, asain hair is very difficult to lift, and takes multiple...

sessions to reach the desired level of blond. She was not unhappy leaving my salon after the first session, in fact she chose to tip me $40. I have not falsely advertised my work, all photos I post are of my clients. In fact [redacted] posted a fraudulent photo of someone else's hair online and on [redacted] and claimed it was the damage I did to her hair. I believe if her hair would have looked "bad" she would have just posted her actual hair. I also thoughly warned her that bleaching hair will cause damage especially a second time like she requested and that we would need to trim off some length. When I saw her horrible review on [redacted], I did contact her and kindly ask her to remove it, which there is no shame in that! I also did not ask my sister to write [redacted] a message and have no control on other parties choosing to get involved. Unfortunatly [redacted] is a disgruntled customer who could not be made happy with any service

Review: Owner would not honor gift certificate (value $220).

Purchase Date: 12/21/2011

Gift Certificate #[redacted]

Amount: $220 - Magical Spa Package

New owner of spa would not honor gift certificate or refund purchase price. Owner said he was not responsible for gift certificates issued under prior owner. Owner was unprofessional and arrogant regarding the entire matter (basically: tough luck). California Civil Code does not permit expiration of gift certificates. Certificate contained no expiration date. New owner purchased entire salon, same name, same location, same employees, same services. How can he not honor unused certificates? Even if it wasn't illegal, it's bad business practice as a new business owner.Desired Settlement: Cost of package - $220

Review: I went in July 13 after messaging back and fourth with [redacted]. She assured and insisted that she can lift Asian hair. Showed her work and pictures. I went in at 3:30pm that Sunday showing her what I liked done and didn't leave about 10:30pm that evening. Exhausted and a new mother all over again I paid, generously tipped her and went about my way. Only to come home to see blotches in my hair and uneven hair colors. I immediately texted her and she replied she will fix after her short vacation. Went back 4 days later. She immediately bleached my hair causing my hair to fry and break. I went in again at 3:30pm having to force myself to leave because my aunt from Michigan was flying down and I had to pick her up at the airport. I left crying. Asking for a refund was out of the question. She stated it paid for the hair dyes she used on me. Frustrated and with less hair now ( it was waist length & healthy when I walked in July 13) I asked what she can do and she stated she can dye my hair back to dark. Going back in for the third time just blew my whistle because all it did was caused more breakage. Sad and disappointed I gave her a star on [redacted]. She wasn't happy with the fact that I rated her with one star. She text, had her sister messaged me calling me names. I think it is so unprofessional to ask to take back the star that I gave her. Harassing me days later. Now, I'm pretty sure her boss knows what's going on because I was not the only one who she screwed over. After my review on [redacted], a couple of ladies also messaged me with the [redacted]e problem. Deceiving and promising advertisment of hair colors she can do but yet again failed with those ladies hair. I was so embarrass and disappointed that I had to pay another salon to cut off all the damaged she made to my hair.Desired Settlement: $160 May not sound a lot. But when you're a mother of 4 it is. If refund is not in favor, I would like you to at least tell her to stop stating she can work on Asian hair. That's false advertisment. She would have to go back to school and get more educated.

Review: my daughter 16th birthday present was to get a brown/red balayage ombre.. after 5 hours later My sister in law paid in advance and left my daughter at salon because the whole process was taking too long she wasn't able to wait. my daughter went into salon @ 3:30 appt and came out 7 hours later with no change or difference in her hair color or style. the stylist ' [redacted] " refused to give refund. and was very rude to me. she yelled and made alot of rude comments to me also and called the police on me while I had my daughter and niece with me. im including pictures . the 1st pic- Before . the 2nd pic- RESULTS . 3rd pic- supposed to look like.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund back due to the fact that there was no result in her hair color or style if anything she ruined my daughter hair with treatments. I have pictures to show proof.
