*** *** ***To whom it may concern,We were notified of a complaint against our office by the Revdex.com and a patient who was upset about their treatment. We
took care of things as we saw fit, but due to HIPAA laws we did not feel it was at all necessary to involve the Revdex.com even though you may have had consent from the patient. It really seems unnecessary to involve a third party in this matter especially considering that the patient never initiated a conversation with us before going to the Revdex.com. I also find the Revdex.com's process extremely unfair as we were automatically assumed to be a guilty party. Essentially any patient can come to you with a complaint, true or not, and your organization will in turn threaten to lower a companies rating if the complaint is not answered. Your "guilty until proven innocent" process really did not sit well with me, especially considering this took a mere minutes to satisfy the parties involved. A simple phone call was all it took, yet instead the Revdex.com participated in written threats based on claims that you took no time in substantiating. This really did not seem to promote "an ethical marketplace where buyers and sellers trust each other", as stated on your website. I know, I for one, have lost trust in your process.
