Review: We had trees cut down in early September by this company. They left two large branches dangling in our neighbors trees. We did not notice right away because we were not looking for extra branches and our neighbor's tree had leaves in it. When the leaves started falling, we noticed the branches and called the company immediately. The woman that answers the phone, Maria, told us that it would be an extra charge for them to come back out. This is ridiculous because they left the branches. We were not asking for additional work, but to complete the job that we had hired and paid for them to do. We called and emailed between september 13 and 30. The final call was that they would remove the branches. Well, 3 months later, the branches are still there! They are very large and dangerous! They are not responding to us anymore because they say that we were satisfied with the job since we paid for the work! how were we supposed to know they left branches in trees that weren't on our property??? In the contract, it states that they are to remove all branches, well, they have not done that, so the contract is not complete.Desired Settlement: We would like them to come and remove the two large dangling branches from the tree that remains standing. it is very apparent what branches need to be removed. We had them cut down an evergreen tree and those are the branches that are in the tree. There are not other evergreens around. The contract has not been complete and it is a safety issue. We paid for the job and they did not withhold their end of the deal.

Review: My neighbor contracted Affordable Tree Service the trim a tree that is hanging over on their property, but the tree is on my property with the understanding that they will discuss the trimming with me. They started trimming the tree without speaking to me. I yelled out for them to stop and called my neighbor. She was unaware that they started the tree but continued to tell them to trim her side despite the fact that I told them I needed to speak to the project manager so I can go over with them what I wanted done to the tree and that I didn't have the opportunity to speak about price. They continued to trim and said the manager was not able to come back to the site. I called the office and he was suppose to call me, instead he called the neighbor. By the time he got to my house the tree was finished with no input from me and they were on my property. The manager insisted that the neighbor told him the tree was on the property line and they were entitled to get it trimmed, however, that does not mean they can come on my property without my permission. Furthermore, I called the office explaining that the tree was completely on my property and they did not stop the work before the manager called me. When he finally called, the work was completed. I was very upset and continued to tell him how upset I was when he said he will be at my house in five minutes and I can yell at him all I want once he's there. He said he was "willing" to trim my side of the tree to make it look even. In order for it to look good, I told him that he needed to fix it, but when I look at the tree it was trimmed for more than I was willing to go. They have no business entering someones property without permission and they can only trim back to a certain degree and this was beyond that. Furthermore, noone should speak to a customer the way he spoke to me no matter how upset a customer is.Desired Settlement: I will seek compensation for the look of the tree and that the trespassing without approval.

My employee went to 8 Ruth Ct. and apologized for not speaking directly to Ms. [redacted]. This occurred shortly after after receiving the initial complaint. He believed there was agreement between the neighbors for pruning of the tree . This was communicated by our customer. Mr [redacted] accepted the apology as Ms. [redacted] was not home. He also asked for an explanation which my employee gave in detail. My employee gave Mr. [redacted] his personal contact information and asked if there was anything further he and the company could do to resolve this matter. Mr. [redacted] said he felt the matter would most likely be resolved with no further action. He said he'd call my employee and/or All Affordable Tree Service if there was need to do anything more. To date there has been further communication and I believe this matter has been resolved. Respectfully, [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:Yes, the employee came to our house and did apologize for trespassing and for addressing me the way he did. He also acknowledged that I told the crew to stop working and they continued by the direction of my neighbor and that the employee (the manager) did nothing to prevent the work from being done. He insisted that the neighbor wanted to get the work done her way, however, they should not have started the job without our approval since it was clear the tree was on our property. He wanted to "make things right" because he said he was in fear of losing his job if he did not offer. He provided his card to my husband. My husband did not accept nor not accept the apology, but insisted that it should not have happened and let him know he would speak to me regarding the offer. It was a very uncomfortable, and unprofessional visit from the employee since he came on his personal time and in his personal vehicle with no indication that the company was making the offer to us or supporting this visit. At no time has the company reached out to us to offer an apology or restitution. It is highly unprofessional for someone to come on their personal time. My husband at no time said that this matter would be resolved with no further action, but that he would speak to me. This issue is not resolved.
