I am not understanding what the customer would like us to do to resolve this?

Customer brought their vehicle in on 7/29/16 for vibration noises (suspension) and tire issue. We provided the customer with a free loaner vehicle while our technicians worked on her vehicle to resolve the customer concern.  Our service department replaced the tire (at no cost to customer) and...

inspected suspension for any and all issues concerning the handling of the vehicle. Everything was within manufactures specifications and no other problems discovered. All worked was performed at no charge to the customer. At the time of sale on 2/19/16, the vehicle was sold and delivered as a new vehicle. As a new vehicle, it has a 3 year 36 thousand mile manufacturer's warranty that covers mechanical failures and defects. However, it does not cover noise and vibration issues unless there is a failure of a covered component. Hopefully this clears up any misunderstanding. However, if customer wishes to contact me I will be happy to sit down with her and discuss her new car purchase and warranty coverage. Sincerely,  [redacted]Sales ManagerAll American [redacted] Midland.

I spoke with both [redacted] and His wife yesterday. I heard their concern and explained that I might be able to help if they came in to see me. I was told they would get together and figure a time that would work and call me back. I asked [redacted] if he felt someone forged his name on the contract and...

[redacted] stated he knew he was signing the contract because the business manager talked him into it. It sounded to me they wanted to get out of the contract and get one into their sons name. I again offered to work with them but they would need to come in and see me. I was not here at the dealership during this period so I do not have any personal knowledge of this car sale. I of course would do my best to help them anyway I can. That offer is still good but again they must come see me.

We have removed the customer off of futrue mail offers. WE tried to sell them a new truck at both Locations. Midland and Odessa Chevrolet. We really would like to sell them one. We were unable to agree on numbers. Sometimes that happens. Thanks [redacted]. I have called the customer and left vm mess....

have not heard back from [redacted]. Gave her my personal cell number. I did spend time on the phone at the beginning of the month when I recommanded they got to Odessa Chevy. Again we could not agree on numbers.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

I have spoke with Mr. [redacted] and confirmed that he approved a diagnoses fee of $225 he agreed to pay. The two findings on his vehicle were failry simple so instead of charging him the $250 fee and quoting him a repair amount we decied to fix it for free and and reduced...

his diagnosis fee from $224 down to only $200. Mr [redacted]d does not think that is fair and is upset we fixed the vehicle for free without his permission. I have agreed to refund him another $100 on the diagnosis and give him the phone number to cancel his lifetime oil change. I believe the service department when above and beyong for Mr [redacted] and I am proud of them for that. This complaint is resolved.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: We don’t feel that [redacted] General [redacted] ofAll American Chevrolet in Odessa/Midland has really answered all of ourconcerns regarding this manner. As she replied that THEY tried to sell us a vehicleat both locations. Yes they did try to sell us a vehicle at the Odessa branchbut only after the Midland branched failed to come to agreement on the no moneydown that was agreed upon before signing. And my husband had actually begansigning the paperwork on the vehicle but it was not the vehicle that waspromised in the email that was sent to my husband by [redacted] onOctober 31st. The vehicle that was promised to my husband in theemail at the agreed upon price was a 2014 Chevrolet 1500 Silverado 4wd ShortCrew Cab Blue Granite Metallic Color with a black cloth interior and incentivesof $2500-$5000 plus trade-in assistance. When we meet at the Midland Branchwith [redacted] and his Sales [redacted], Mr. [redacted] told[redacted] to show us totally different truck than the one that [redacted]had emailed us about; the vehicle was of a different color a Maroon with taninterior. The total price of this vehicle was never disclosed until we meetwith the finance clerk Winston Lewis after asking several times for the totalprice of the vehicle the only price we received was the monthly payments andinterest rate. According to Title 43 of the Texas Administrative Code Chapter215 Subchapter H Rule 215.265 "Bait" advertisement shall not be usedby any person. The same title of the Texas Administratitve Code Chapter 215Subchapter H Rule 215.244 regarding definitions, the definition of “baitadvertisement” is “An alluring but insincere offer to sell or lease a productof which the primary purpose is to obtain leads to persons interested in buyingor leasing merchandise of the type advertised and to switch consumers frombuying or leasing the advertised product in order to sell or lease some otherproduct at a higher price or on a basis more advantageous to the advertiser. This is what All American Chevrolet of Midland did and continues to do as wellas break several of the regulations under Title 43 of the Texas AdministrativeCode. Including Rule 215.246 “All advertisements shall be accurate, clear, andconspicuous and shall not be false, deceptive, or misleading.”  Rule 215.247 which states that the followingtype of statements are prohibited; Statements such as "write your owndeal," "name your own price," "name your own monthlypayments," or statements with similar meaning. This is exactly what[redacted] said to me when she told me that my husband and I were therelast sale of the night and what did I want my payments to be and how muchinterest, and the amount of trade on our vehicle. And on November 7thwhen we received in the mail the letter from [redacted] with the promise of“Clear trade-in or buy outright with a black book price as to what our vehicleis worth including 0% interest for 60 months or $4500 cash back. Again broken rules;Rule 215.253 “No guaranteed trade-in amount or range of amounts shall be usedin advertising.” Rule 215.259 (c) An offer to pay, promise to pay, or tendercash to a buyer of a motor vehicle as in a rebate or cash back program may notbe advertised, unless it is offered and paid in part by the motor vehiclemanufacturer or distributor directly to the retail purchaser or assignee of theretail purchaser and unless the advertisement sets forth the disclosuresrequired by this rule.” In which this advertisement does not disclose. Thisadvertisement is directly from All Amercian Chevrolet in Midland, Texas and NOTan advertisement from GM Motors. So as I have said we don’t believe that[redacted] has really answered any of our concerns regarding this manner. And just taking my husband and I off of their mailing list of futureadvertisement does not stop them from falsely advertising and using “baitadvertisement’s” to lure other potential customers to their dealership in a fraudulentmanner. We feel that more needs to be done to stop the illegal process that AllAmerican Chevrolet is doing by advertising in this way. Regards,
[redacted]
