I gave him a deposit for a job he later said he wouldn't do. He promised to mail me back my deposit which he never did (from early June 2016).I was never at his location. He did work for my neighbor. He said he could recover my boat. I gave him a deposit. Then I asked him to build a shade structure for my deck which he did after very long delay and never answering his phone or texts about the delay. He finally delivered on that job which was less than the initial deposit I gave him. Since I had such trouble contacting him, and since there was such a long delay (months) I told him I would pay for the shade structure and the balance of the cost of the boat covering when the boat covering was complete. We arranged a date for him to come to my house to work on the boat and he never showed up and again didn't respond to phone calls or text. About a week later he said he chose to not refinish my boat but would return the portion of my deposit ($225) which did not go to pay for the shade structure. That was in early June. He promised a couple of times that the check would be in the mail in the next few days. It never showed up. I tried calling again - no answer - phone mail is full, and I tried texting him - no answer. I am now turning to you to try to resolve this situation.
