All American Eyeglass Repair

Review: My 17 year old son went to the shop on 7/31 to have his eyeglasses repaired after he sat on them. He was told that they needed to send out the arm to be properly fixed and it would take 7 to 10 days. He paid $60 and they placed a temp arm on his glasses that did not match and made his glasses crooked on his face. They should have simply said "we can't fix these" and I would have instructed him to go somewhere else. He asked for a receipt and was given their business card with "paid $60- 7/31" on the back. On 8/14 I called to inquire about the delay and no phone calls from the business with updates. The woman who answered was very abrasive, quick to get loud and excuse the bad service but did not want to listen to my concern. A man in the background, who I assume was Dave the technician was asking her about my concerns. Not only was she rude to me but to him as well and she quickly hung up on me after a brief period of silence. I immediately drove to the shop to address her in person with my son. She and Dave were outside smoking when I pulled up, which to me was very unprofessional. I proceeded to the shop and waited briefly for their return. I let her know who I was and why I drove to the shop. She was very rude although did apologize for the delay and explained she would contact the company and call me the next day with information. She called me and guarunteed that the arm would be delivered no later than 8/21 and she would call me. No call on 8/21 so I called her and again she was very rude. I asked for a refund of the $60 as I was not satisfied and she told me I cannot have my money back. She also proceeded to tell me that she did me a favor by giving him a temp arm on his glasses and sending them out to be fixed. The same male was in the background questioning her and I let her know that it was very unprofessional to hold a conversation with him while helping me. At this point she was completely out of control and told me she could not have a conversation with both of us. My co-workers heard the entire conversation as she was yelling at me and was so loud. She said they might still come in and she would call me. It has now been 22 days and my son is still wearing broken glasses.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund as I requested.
