6' Aluminum FenceReasonably priced, great workmanshipBoth Office personnel and Install Crew were professional, knowledgeable and courteousGood experience from initial estimate to final completion Overcame a couple of obstacles during the install due to elevations and treed areaInstalled and finished in one day, as promisedExtremely pleased with our new Fence and All American FencesWe would recommend them to others

This is our response to the *** statements that we find are inaccurate - When *** ***
called our office for our insurance & bond information she left us a voice mail message. Our office called *** *** back within minutes but got her voice mail. A message was left telling *** *** to call back for the information. *** *** never called back that day. She then filed her complaint with Revdex.com. *** *** called back the next day and we gave her the information. We never refused. The owner of All American Fences never stated that the water in their basement was our faultWe too have spoken with builders about French drains and they say just the opposite of what *** *** is saying their builders have saidOur contacts say that out of three drains clogged would not let water into the basementThe gravel and filters in the ground around the foundation would soak up the excess water.
Our insurance company is still in the gathering information stage as the calls made to the *** and their lawyer are not being returned. So they are not 'dragging their feet', they just need specific information from the *** to continue

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:I filed a complaint on August 7, 2017 and still nothing has been done. The company sent me an email asking me to be patient and that is ALL. Nothing has been addressed. We want AAF to come out to our property and replace the damaged boards and posts. If they are not able or willing to do that, we want a refund of our money sufficient to cover the cost of having a different company come do the repairs. We want resolution by Sept. 1, 2017. AAF has been putting us off for 3 months now and we cannot stain our fence until it is fixed. We are still being ignored by the company.Regards,[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:  I am not accepting it because it isn't true.  I am also going to drop this battle of words and the he said she said stuff.  My lawyer is now in charge.

I, Jim O[redacted], am responding to this complaint, as it seems to be directed more at me than anyone else. I am a salesman for All American Fences,Inc. which is owned by Bernadino [redacted].At my first meeting with [redacted], we measured his property for the fence and discussed style and...

accessories...I left the property and within a day had drafted and emailed him a fencing proposal. A short time (a few days) later he sent me an email saying he was accepting the proposal and saying 'lets throw this thing up'. I received his signed contract. About one to two days later I get an email with about eight to ten points that he wants to specify and/or make changes to the existing agreement/contract. Mind you this is a time of year that I'm getting 20-30 new requests for estimates every week (sometimes every day). I didn't even have time to deal with his first list when I got the second list the following day....At this point I knew that I wouldn't have  time to handle all of his nuances, so I turned  his project over to the office. He continued sending emails to me even after I sent him one telling him that he had already negated the contract and I quite frankly didn't know when his changes were going to stop so that we would know what contract we had....to much for my time. Please realize that I had already done all of the work that I usually do for my projects..so when I gave this one back to the office, I also gave away my income in the process.... Finally, when I called the neighbors to schedule their job, I did say once that [redacted] had been difficult for me, and [redacted] simply said she didn't want to discuss that and that was it. I did not go into it again. I'm sorry but I tried to tell [redacted] that he had changed the contract but he made no mention of it in response so I had no alternative but to give him up. The owner, Nino, as is his perogative, chose to send a crew out to build the fence, and did so with my caution(s). Not much more that I can do than advize him. We are working with our insurance company to look into this issue. It has not been determined that All American Fences was at fault for water entering their basement.

Review: I asked All American Fences to provide a quote to build a fence around my property. The owner “Nino”, got me in touch with his sales rep “Jim O[redacted]”. Jim came out to my property and we discussed the details where I wanted my fence and what I wanted it to look like. When Jim and I were talking about the fence I asked him if he was going to come out and conduct a pre-install walk-around to ensure that everything is exactly the way that I wanted. I also told him some specifics about some modifications I wanted to make to a portion of the fence to facilitate future concrete additions.

I never received a picture of what the fence would look like so when I received the quote later I had some questions about some of the accessories that I was being billed for. At that time I sent multiple detailed diagrams and pictures outlining exactly what I wanted. As the installation date drew near I was concerned because I had sent multiple emails and texts to Jim that went unanswered. I sent final email days before the install letting the and the owner know that I had staked out the perimeter and I ran a string around the stakes so there would be no confusion about where I wanted the fence, because I would not be present when they installed it and because Jim had not come out to see that multiple changes to the perimeter shape must be made because of a concrete culvert... I also included a detailed diagram of the modification that I needed to facilitate the concrete later. Jim responded to me that I would void my quote with these modifications and that he would have to let the owner take care of it.

The Owner postponed the install so I could be there when they installed the fence. We went over everything and it seemed like we were on track. The installers made a few mistakes on the location of the fence and we had to move one set of posts three times to get them right (They did not follow the string). After the fence was done I found that they had not built the modification as I had requested and as I had explained to the owner. They came back the next day and finished the project. I am very happy with the fence and the overall quality of construction but shortly after this we ran into the problem.

Several weeks after my fence was installed my neighbor had All American Fences install their fence. Jim made a mistake on the linear footage of their fence and after the fence was completed, he had to call them to let them know that it was going to be a substantial amount more than what he quoted them. The discussion led to Jim telling my neighbor not to be difficult like I was to him and his company… He went on to tell them about how “difficult” I was. My neighbor had to tell him to stop multiple times and had to outline that that was none of his business and any issues that Jim, the owner or I had, should be dealt with between us and should not include other customers. I was completely shocked when my neighbor told me about this given that I had been in constant communication and had tried to get a hold of Jim so often to clarify the details of the project.

Jim’s actions were completely unacceptable. When I addressed it with him and the owner via email, the owner just asked what this was about. When I told Nino about the problem, he said that he would talk with Jim about it. I want others to know what kind of treatment they will receive when they use All American Fences.Desired Settlement: I would like a letter from the company outlining why they let Jim O[redacted] treat people the way that he does and what they are going to do to correct it. Monetary compensation would be great also since Jim never listened to my requests and charged me for post caps and other items that I did not have installed. I would also like a final invoice as I never received on after the job was complete.
