All American Handywoman

My husband and I decided to hire the All American Woman for what seemed like a simple bathroom fix (putting down new flooring, putting up headboard and trim)That's where things went a little wrongIt probably should have been a 3-day job but it was dragged out to a week jobThere were days it looked like she did absolutely no workWe decided to put new flooring over the linoleum floorThere was some that was curling up under the radiatorThat took days for her to not do anything because she said the floor wasn't dry yet...but why couldn't you start putting down the floor in the other area in the bathroom? And she didn't even finish putting down the floor before she started working on the wallsShe then put up the headboard, which wasn't a big deal BUT then came the trim/finish workThere were gaps in the wood and she told us that she was going to fix it with caulkThere is no way to fix bad craftsmanship on the trip with caulk, especially when there is at least a 1/in gapWe ended up firing her without having her finish the job because she did such a bad job in the bathroom that we decided to go find someone else to fix the bathroomWe told her to come pick up her stuff and she wanted to try to come back and fix the job that we weren't happy with because she does like to leave customers unhappyWell, maybe you should done a good job to begin with and you wouldn't be in this situationPoor work ethic on her part for dragging this job out for weeks and poor workmanship
