Do not use All American Hardwood We questioned the owner and his workers on if we needed to get a carpet company to fix the edges of the carpets in our bedrooms where it had to be cut in order to install the new hardwood floors in the hallway We were told by both the owner and his employees that they can do the carpet finishing work So, we did not hire anyone else to do that part of the job When the worker came here to finish the carpet edges he did not know what he was doing and cut all the carpets off too short and ruined our carpets The day this happened we asked the head worker who was here about the carpets and he said the guy who the owner had doing the carpet work does not know how to do carpet work and he was not surprised that he made a mess and ruined the carpets This worker then tried to fix them as best to his ability, but they are all cut too short and in some rooms you see the subfloor and carpet nails Before making our final payment we called the owner to come look at the carpet mess and we wanted to adjust our bill so that we could hire a carpet company to try and fix our carpets We had someone from a carpet company come and look at this problem to see what we could do She told us they can try to stretch all our carpets and gain more at the doorways in order to turn more under and cover the subfloor So, the owner told us that he would pay to have this carpet work done Once we got the carpet lady out here to install some carpets on our stairs and do the carpet work that All American ruined we could never get the owner to return our calls, texts or emails We even called his office and left a message with the secretary to please have him call us She said she would and we never heard another word from him So, if you use All American and if they tear anything up, get it dealt with before you make the final payment Otherwise you will likely never hear back from the company Also, the floors they installed and refinished for us have lots of dirt left in the finish and what looks like men's arm hairs stuck in the finish
