Revdex.com spoke to TJ at business and the following was relayed: I went to the customer's house, she wanted the chimney fixedShe said the people before her gave her a price of $3,for the chimney, I told her I could do it for lessShe needed additional work doneI took down all the vines, took out
tree roots (they were not bushes), poison sumac, etc and built up the retaining wallThere was already stone behind where the retaining wall was placed and the drainage is goodI also cut down branchesThe issue came up when attempting to repair the stairsThe two cornerstones needed replacing and crumbled when touchedLooking underneath the block wall inside was leaning approximately " in for a 1/ft lengthThe vestibule was not sitting on anything as the joists were rotted, which was discovered when attempting to put a beam in and the joists crumbled when grabbed on toI gave her a price to properly repairShe was upset and said she would contact me when she returned in two weeksI took other jobs in between and when she returned she expected me to return the next dayI did meet with her, she had a gentleman with her, and she stated she did not want me to do the porchI am willing to fulfill the original contract but the customer would need to pay the $1,owed up front and then I will return to finish the chimney, remove the remaining branches, and place the topsoil as originally agreed

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. What was written by Timothy A. is not how it was discussed. Please refer to the scanned proposal I sent with my initial complaint. I also later found out after I filed, that he took the limestone treads I paid for. So as I stated for the $ 4500 paid to this man, all he did was a rock wall and trimmed some limbs. He also agreed to finish the chimney as witnessed by Dennis M. who was present. So, I would need the $2000 and the limestone treads returned. Thank you for your consideration
