This was the worst experience of our lives. We contracted through Best Cross Country Movers to move from West Virginia to Florida. We later learned that this company is a broker company and they contracted All American Movers to do the actual move. When the movers arrived they surveyed the material to be moved and insisted that the size of the truck was not large enough to hold all of the belongings. This added another $5000.00 to the price that we had contracted with Best Cross Country Movers when we videoed the furniture and boxes to be moved. They also added $1000.00 for expert packing.

We were told the move would take two days for the 14 hour drive. The van actually arrived in 5 days. Several items were damaged during the move and the legs were actually broken off of a bistro table. There were also several furniture items and a large box of wood working tools missing. I can not figure out how items can be placed on a truck and not arrive at the new address.

We had the standard insurance of $ .60 a pound. We turned the estimated value of the damaged and missing items into their insurance. After months of waiting we received $204.00 total for the damaged and missing items. We were told they did not include the tools from the missing box. Since that was packed by us, they could not be certain what was actually in the box. The total for the missing and damaged was $2600.00.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! DESTROYED MOST 90% OF MY FURNITURE AND WOULD NOT REPLACE!!!!!

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY! They are crooks. Quote you one price and then upcharge you when they arrive. Stated I had to many items. YOU KNEW WHAT I HAD BEFORE YOU GOT HERE! Tried to bribe me into paying him a different amount or he would call his boss and state that my items were larger than stated on the initial booking. Boss is a crook as well. Held my items hostage until we forked over $400 more. I told them I was definitely going to write a bad review! I did receive a call asking how the service was but didn't get a response after that.

We have been dealing with this Company since 12/30/19. This is my husband's first PCS. we just recently got married on the 28th of December 2019. We are so new to this military thing and *** (we will be filing a complaint about them too) reached out to my husband making it seem like we would be taken care of and once the movers got to our place in Colorado, they were asking for money orders.... one, we were told that we could pay with Credit card so that it was easier to report that back to the military and so we did not give them any money orders. We tried calling the moving company we first started dealing with to see what was going on, No answer. so they loaded our stuff because we had already paid a deposit and said that the billing company will be contacting us in the next few days. Didn't hear anything from the billing company till 1/2/2020.... a rude man demanding money and saying they will hold our stuff if we do not pay, once again we explained to them that we were told that we could pay with CC and he told us that we are the reason why they do not do CC payments, completely rude. Then asked us to pay $1,000 through VENMO.... again feeling like we were stuck in a hard place because we are in our new town at our new house not knowing anything and needing our stuff we paid through the cash app.... got a receipt. No we have been calling since then to see where our stuff is, no answer, no calls back, we even emailed. My husband was completely taken advantage of and we are still waiting for our stuff. I finally called again and got an answer from a woman named April. These people are so incredibly rude and only talked about the balance we have and cant answer any of my questions. She couldn't give me a date or a rough estimate of when our stuff will get here. Again, we are newly married and moved from colorado to Florida with two cats. It has been extremely difficult to get adjusted when we do not have our belongings. So now we are just waiting and not knowing when our stuff will get here.

This complaint is in no relation to our company. There are other moving companies with similar names to ours, so I'm assuming they have the exact name incorrect. We have never, and would never, request money orders, credit card payments, or VENMO transactions from a military member, as all military moves are regulated by the military, and all billing and payments run directly through the base. As a side note, we also have never had a salesperson named ***

would never do business with them again. once they got a signed contract, you could never get hold of anyone......never there out to lunch, will call you back. never did. very unprofessional people. very rude when you did talk to someone. under quoted our property, dammmm needed another truck, double the price. first time they where to deliver to new place, never showed up. we drove 10 hrs to be at our new house. and they didn't show up. called them, they said we hadn't scheduled a drop off date. we did, was on out contract. said it would be sometime after the 5th july. guess what, they showed up 4th of july, 6 hours late from time they said they'd be here. had to cancel 4th july things. they broke a lot of our property a lot of things where missing or stolen. not sure. made a claim, said they would only pay for a few things. ohhhhhhh they don't pay what your property is worth, they go by what they think things weigh. And they pay you .60 cents a pound. way off on that. they offered us $96.00 to settle our claim. they damaged over a 1000 dollars of our property. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY

Absolute crooks. Run for the hills...seriously.
Sale was great. Here's your price. It covers everything. We're white glove front to back. This includes pick up, drop off, move in, move out. Oh and you'll get calls from other guys that will charge you less, but don't listen to them they're crooks. Thanks guys appreciate your help.
They list your items out. And then show up and their software has magically underquoted the 410 cubic feet...which was all of a sudden 610...weird? I guess my stuff is just bigger. Oh and I didn't bring my biggest item...my couch. Thats 25% up-charge.
No problem the service was great at point of sale...oh weird there's one person on duty who hung up on me no less than 5 times for asking for a manager on the day of a cross country move. After sitting on hold for 35 minutes I was told to pay up or they would unload my stuff. Oh and the only way I can move now is to sign paperwork under duress at that point in time to cover the up-charge. Set a delivery date and off they go.
Next week I call in about the issues. Every day. No calls back. No one can answer. Get to the ***, Tiffany. After speaking with Jennifer and Sierra, the ***. No one can return calls, but we're all real apologetic. Oh and yeah charges stand. And hey guess what. Your delivery date is your FIRST AVAILABLE...so you're sleeping on the floor for two weeks.
Ask for the owner. Given *** email. Ask again. Get a call back three days later. Explain the situation and ask if its how he likes doing business. "No." Want to do something about it? "No."
Delivery arrives two weeks late. And now there's a charge for a shuttle, because the truck they booked can't get to the regular building on the regular street. Oh and there's a charge for unpacking. What happened to included? Oh and only the first flight of stairs is covered. Oh and a flight = 7 steps, no 8, wait it depends on who you ask. And yes each additional flight is more money...oh and you have to pay cash or they won't unload.
Can't wait to see how much of my stuff is broken...

this place is shady. worst experience. They are rude. Hang up on you and once the charming sales guy gets the sale he goes missing. Emails not returned and when they do it's just about money. They put your stuff on trucks that they contract with moving companies. was told they couldn't even tell me where my stuff is. I was told by movers that picked up from house they would be at my house 5 days later. American movers just said oh well. They shouldn't if told you that. I went ahead and out boxes if documents and clothes on truck since movers said I would have In 5 days. Nathan hing up on me and very rude and barely spoke English. When he did speak he sounds illiterate. Emily the customer service rep only responds when she feels like it which is rare. no accountability with these people. Do not use this company.
