7–6–[redacted] CALLED US ON 1-7–FOR AN ANT PROBLEM.I WENT OUT TO CHECK OUT THE PROBLEM.I.TOLD HER THEY WERE ODOROUS ANTSEXPLAINED WHAT WE HAD TO DO.(TREAT INTERIOR,POWER SPRAY EXTERIOR.) Review: I purchased a home on 12/10/2012 which included a transferrable year contract protecting the home against termites thru All American Termite and Pest Control effective 10/10/2012 to 10/10/2013. On 5/5/2012 I noticed an infestation of flying termites in my home. I captured a bug to show the termite man and called All American to set up an appointment. I was scheduled for 5/7/2013 at 4:30 pm. The owner [redacted] is the only termite control specialists so he arrived at my property and reviewed the contract and informed me that the bug was a flying termite and he would treat one area for the termites. I asked him to examine our porch because the day I noticed the flying termites in my home my youngest son who is only 2 years old fell through the porch steps and there was termite damage to the wood that he broke through. The owner told me he wouldn't treat the porch as it wasn't part of the home (????) and would only treat the one spot he felt was infested. He then began to walk away from me when I started questioning his reasoning. I hurried after him and crashed into my kids baby pool in my haste to catch up to him as he was already getting in his truck to leave without resolving my issue. He assumedly thought I had kicked the pool and turned around and called my a "crazy nut, lady" and jumped in his truck and peeled out of my driveway. I called his office that same day and spoke with the receptionist who informed me she would leave a message for him. My husband called the office and received the same treatment on 5/9. I called on 5/10, 5/14, 5/16 and 5/17- all of these calls resulted in me leaving a message with the receptionist who assured me she would give him the message and I still haven't even received a phone call from the receptionist informing me if the owner truly wanted to back out of his legal contract to treat our property of termites. I contacted a lawyer to ask what I should do and he told me I could contact your company, better business boro and write a letter to the company informing them of my intent to hold him to his contract. I called the company ( all American) on 5/22 and was connected to the answering service whom took a message and still no return phone call from anybody at the company. The treatment cost through a new company runs upwards of $500-$600 and then we can continue to renew the contract for the $95 range. I have original and copies of the signed and dated contract for the property.Desired Settlement: Treat the whole property for termites per the legal signed and dated contract.
