Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Never got this message, and if so, I would have responded All of the statements given are untrueI actually have two saved voicemail messages from them stating the replacement part was in stock and ready for pick up When I arrived, they said they had misplaced it during their move to a new building The umbrella was not damaged during a wind storm!!! It collapsed and failed under conditions by simply trying to close itPeriodThey did offer to "sell" me a new umbrella frame, at a higher price than I paid for the umbrella Please re-open the case Regards, [redacted]

Dear Revdex.com, when the customer brought in their umbrella it had a tear at the top finial and a broken aluminum umbrella arm, which from our year history in the casual furnishings business is clear evidence of wind damage. The manufacturer will not warranty against wind damage or other any weather related damage issues, please see the manufacturer warranty information enclosedIf this was a warranty type claim then the product would have been shipped back to the manufacturer for inspection and if approved then the product would have been repaired or replaced under warranty coverage and returned to our retail locationThis was not the case for this umbrella, for again the customer inquired about getting the replacement arm that was wind damage related to repair the umbrella, but unfortunately the manufacturer did not have this part available separately and the only solution was to purchase a new umbrella frame. All American did give this option to the customer which the customer declined and refused to pick up his umbrella. All American did hold onto the umbrella for days for if the customer changed his mind we would have available, since he did not we have since deposed of the umbrella locally

From the information we gathered, Mr*** purchased a market
umbrella some time ago from All American and suffered “wind damage/mother nature” related issue of which the vendor/manufacturer will not warranty against this type of damage. However to accommodate the customer we requested from the manufacturer if they would be able to find the part needed to replace if they could please send to us and we would install on the customers frame at courtesy for N/C. Unfortunately, the part needed to repair the umbrella was not available from manufacturer and so the only option was for the customer to purchase a new umbrella frame. We contacted the customer to notify him of this information and he was clearly upset with the outcome and stated that he would NOT be picking up the frame from All American and for us to “Do whatever you want with it, I’m not picking it up,” and abruptly hung up the phone
In conclusion, All American attempted to get a part for a non-warrantied product for Mr*** and unfortunately we were unsuccessful, however we did have a solution to his problem by getting him a new umbrella frame. All American will be happy to accommodate Mr*** if he still decides

Worst.Small.Business.Ever. and my preference is small American companies. This owner not only feels entitled to your business, but will go to extreme lengths to get it. RUN AWAY!

Recently, my family had a very professional and memorable experience working with [redacted] at the Glendale location. From the moment we arrived we felt a warm inviting introduction from [redacted] and knew that if All American had the quality product to back up the stellar salesmenship we would definitely start a long standing partnership. All American Pool & Patio: We paid > $1000 to have our patio cushions recovered 2 years ago with Sunbrella fabric. Last year and more this year, the fabric yellowed on all of them. We took them in to AAPP in August. Terrible customer service. Lies about what could be done, when they would contact us, with no follow up. It took 4 months of weekly nagging to get them to resolve it, including many trips to the store to physically be in front of them to get them to take action. We had to pay for the sewing of the new cushions--we had paid for sewing the 1st time. Then AAPP stated they were negotiating with Sunbrella for reimbursement $$ for the sewing costs(!), but actually told us about it and that we would not get any of it. This sounds like fraud to me. At the very least, the worst customer service ever. I have been a manager and administrator for years. This example should be written in the books on how not to do business. My husband and I are looking for a full sized patio BBQ and Bar Table, etc. No way it will be with AAPP

Thank you, [redacted]

We had a great purchase experience 8 years ago when we purchased wicker patio furniture and cushions for our outdoor lounge chairs. When we needed warranty replacements for the chairs, the manufacturer that they carry handled the claim without any hassle, and when we needed to replace the now sun worn chaise cushions, they were super helpful and competitive price wise, saving us the need to price shop elsewhere.

I recently visited the Chandler All American Pool & Patio store while shopping for patio furniture. I enjoyed the variety of furniture and furnishings they had in the store - all quality pieces. The salesperson that helped me, [redacted], was professional and knowledgeable about the products. I haven't purchased yet, but I will most likely go back to see [redacted] when I am ready to buy.

Shop there, but never ever buy from any of their shops. The salespeople are pleasant, at first. The owner is the most miserable person, you do not want to do business with them when a problem surfaces. He acts as if he's entitled to business and for consulting his salespeople, he will charge 1/3 of the sales price. Most of the furniture can be purchases elsewhere for better prices and more reasonable terms.

Dear Revdex.com,
The discounted advertised price shown to the client was $249.95, totaling $1499.70 + Sales Tax (Grand Total $1624.18).  The client made an offer of $900.00, which was mistakenly written up on the sales invoice.  All American immediately contacted the customer after the...

transaction to explain our mistake before he picked up the furniture.  All American immediately voided the transaction because we were unable to fulfill the sale.  The client may contact All American directly to discuss further.

Dear Revdex.com, when the customer brought in their umbrella it had a tear at the top finial and a broken aluminum umbrella arm, which from our 40 year history in the casual furnishings business is clear evidence of wind damage.  The manufacturer will not warranty against wind damage or other any weather related damage issues, please see the manufacturer warranty information enclosed.
