All American Rain Gutter, Patio, and Concrete

Review of customer service and work performed on new driveway is dismal, at bestIt took my, property owner, involvement to get city inspection approval to pour concrete, after two previous failuresDuring the grading of the driveway, one their workers, Richie, was told by wife that she believed he was grading it too steep and even contacted the company's owner, Bruce Mann, on the phone to address her concerns
He did not show up to look at it until days have passed and by then the work was too far along for him to stop itAfter the first failed city inspection, he told me and my wife that he instructed his workers, of which there were no more then two at any one time, that they would fill in the grade with base, however his worker tried to fill it in with the concrete from the cut curb that I found out he dumped in a back lot next to my houseAlso the city inspector stated on his report, because of the amount of base needed that it had to be mechanical tamped downIf they did that they would not need a retaining wall where they graded too steeplyThe contractor fought and argued with my wife that this was not neededWhen it failed the second time, my wife had to argue again with the worker and even though the worker had a copy of the failed inspection he kept telling my wife it passed and they could pourMe and my wife tried calling the company's owner several time and we either got his voice mail or when he did answer, excuses why he couldn't come out and resolve the issue with his employeeHe told us he told his employees to do everything we were asking and they just ignored him or the owner never called and just left it to them to do what they wantEither way the whole customer experience was terrible as well as the work performedAfter the grading and form passed from the third inspection, The company's owner showed up that day asking for half of the money for the project and told us he would make everything right before he poured, which was scheduled to do in three daysThe day of the scheduled pouring the company owner contacted my wife and said he would not be able to do until the next dayAfter I learned of this I felt a need to write this review on this companyAlthough the Company's owner, Bruce Mann, says your satisfaction is important to him and he doesn't want to get paid until your happy, him and his employees, at least for this job, did not demonstrate that commitment and before hiring this company, I would recommend this commitment in writing versus his word, which so far is not worth anythingI will update this review after the drive way is completed and has passed the final city inspection, however I don't see it changing
