Lousy!!! Don't bother calling because they won't never show upAnd when you call them back you just get excuses and an appointment whenever they can make it outThere moto should be: We are *** we do *** work and have *** serviceWhen I called another company they said there are about companies in this area that do this kind of work and he would rate All American Septic 15thDon't wast your time or money with these ***

All American Septic Charged Me But Didn't Fix My Problem. Another septic company fixed my problem! On 9/15/2014, I had All American Septic (based on [redacted]'s List reviews) come out to my house on [redacted] Wake Forest NC to fix an apparent field drainage issue in my yard. There was a specific area in my yard that was "squishy" and smelled a bit on the bad side. All American Septic pumped my septic tank and cleaned the filter and performed a hydro jet and vacuumed the field line. I was assured that this would fix the problem, and was charged $1278.75 ($275 for the pump/filter clean + $1100 for the hydrojet - 7% discount). I really had no option at that point since I needed the issue addressed immediately. I was told to then wait for the area "to dry", but it did never dried out. I called All American Septic again a few months later (observing the same problem and even personally asking the owner to come out to my house and he said he would) and the same technician came out (without owner). This time, it was suggested that I had essentially 2 options: 1) use less water i.e. don't shower when doing the laundry and 2) add another field line and start the permit process with Franklin County Environmental Department. No further debugging of the issue was performed by All American Septic. Recently, I had another septic tank company come out to my house (This time based on numerous positive Wake Forest Facebook page comments). I was beyond tired of having this problem and needed a 2nd opinion. Before they came out they asked for a copy of the original septic permit from the county so they knew where the field lines were located (All American Septic never did that). The tech looked in the distribution box and determined that 3 of the 4 lines were not taking liquid which would result in an overload of one of the lines and hence the "squishy" area in my yard. I believe when All American Septic came out one of the lines was blocked at the distribution box (your tech cleaned that), but the technician did not explain, show, or debug that the other lines not being able to take liquid. The tech from the other septic tank company demonstrated the issue, made some adjustments in the distribution box, and fixed the issue. The tech from the other septic company also explained to me that it is "well known" for All American Septic to suggest hydrojet when it is not necessary. Now that I know the problem was not waste or debris in the field line, I believe this to be true. That service, which was not necessary (it certainly did not address the core problem) cost me a total of $1100! The technician from the other septic company said he had heard that story from many other consumers about All American Septic. He also mentioned a septic system around the age of mine (~7 years) should never have to be hydro jet. In addition, there are only 2 people living here, and the technician said at MOST we should only need to use 2 of the 4 field lines (although using all 4 is good). All American Septic suggested adding a 5th field??????!!!!!! I don't want to even think how much that would have unnecessarily cost me.Now I am definitely more educated about septic tanks, field lines and how they work. All American Septic took $1278.75 of my money and still did not fix my issue. They were more than content to start additional maintenance (i.e. add another field to my yard) and charge me ever more for services that weren't going to fix my issue. I have the original receipt with all itemized charges (Receipt XXXXXX).Desired SettlementNeither the septic tank cleaning or hydrojet process actually fixed the problem in my yard. I paid $1278.75 to All American Septic and they did NOT FIX MY PROBLEM. I do not have an issue paying for the septic tank cleaning ($275) as that is something that probably needed to be done every 5 years or so. I would like a refund on the Hydro Jet ($1100) part of the maintenance All American Septic provided based upon the following reasoning: 1) overpriced service 2) did not even address the issue at hand and fix my issue 3) unnecessary procedure based on the actual fix of the septic tank 4) pattern of suggesting hydro jet procedure to customers when not needed.Business Response /[redacted]/Contact Name and Title: [redacted] Contact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXXSorry for my delayed response.I was unaware that you were unhappy and/or unsatisfied with the work performed until the Revdex.com email was sent to me immediately following your email stating such.Had you called (Me, The Owner. [redacted]) explaining these issues I could have fixed this situation. How do I know that what we did didn't fix your issue and now your just making false accusations to get free money? My biggest concern is that we lost you as a customer and that isn't something I take lightly. I value my customers and I wish you would have communicated with me verbally to fix this matter rather than sending emails that possibility I never received. If you'd like to resolve this issue my direct phone number is XXX-XXX-XXXX please fill free to call me. Thank you and have a great day.[redacted] OWNERConsumer Response /[redacted]/Mr. [redacted],Thank you for your response. I do appreciate you taking time out of your busy schedule and responding to me.Let me address your concerns:"How do I know that what we did didn't fix your issue and now your just making false accusations to get free money?"I am appalled that you would make an accusation that I am trying to get "free money" considering the documentation I have presented to you in my formal complaint. The issue was clearly not fixed by your company, forcing me to go to another septic company who did fix my issue. Is this your view of your customers if they have an issue? That they are trying to take money from you? This is not the way to retain customers. The days of "the customer is always right" are apparently over in the septic tank business. How would you feel if you spent $1300 on an issue and it wasn't resolved? If I was looking for "quick and easy money" why would I put my name and reputation on the line and file a very public complaint to the Raleigh Revdex.com? If you feel like I am trying to steal money from you, I can ask the septic company that came out here to document my yard situation and their fix. I have a receipt from them explaining what they did. "Fix the Situation"I originally had your company come out and it was determined that I needed a septic cleaning and hydro jet service. This did not fix my issue as there was still a wet, mushy patch out in my yard after being told to "let it dry out". I called you several weeks later after my yard did not improve, made another appointment, and personally asked you to come out and assess the situation. You agreed and then did not show up. The leader of the crew, [redacted], that did show up (same crew that did the septic cleaning and hydro jet service) then gave me 2 options 1) use less water (i.e. don't do laundry and take a shower at the same time) or 2) install an additional septic field in my yard which I am sure would have cost thousands of dollars. Really? There was no additional debugging of my problem on this 2nd trip at all. It felt like other than those 2 ideas it was the end of the road for your company."Sorry for my delayed response"I have tried to contact you multiple times at the email address on your website ([redacted]@yahoo.com). If that email doesn't work, you are missing out on some business. The "Contact Me" form from your website works (You responded to my initial inquiry about the issue in my yard). Also, the Raleigh Revdex.com has both emailed AND "snail" mailed you the formal complaint TWICE (I verified that they do in fact snail mail the complaint) in a 30 day period. I filed the Revdex.com complaint on July 28, 2015. There really is no excuse for missing the documentation for my issue. "Resolve this issue"After spending a long time of putting up with the issue (faced with the issue of a very potentially expensive septic field fix), I decided to call another septic company in my area. They asked me to provide a field map of the yard to assist them in debugging, something your company never did. They made the following analysis and comments:1) Cleaning the septic tank and hydro jet would never have fixed my problem. Hydro jetting a septic field could potentially harm the septic field and shouldn't be necessary for the number of years we have been in the house. It should only be used for specific septic problems.2) There are 2 people living in this house and we were using less than 25% field line capacity. So why would an additional field be necessary as recommended by [redacted]? I would have spent a lot more money and the issue would have persisted. 3) The final solution involved opening the distribution box and rotating the flow level devices. The 2nd septic company clearly demonstrated me how one line was receiving all of the effluent flow versus the other lines. They made proper adjustments and then demonstrated that all of the septic lines were being equally fed effluent. I think your crew cleaned out one septic pipe but did not evaluate the flow levels, so the root of the problem was never diagnosed properly (and therefore I still had the same issue).I will call you on 8/27/2015 and we can discuss this further and come to a resolution satisfactory to the both of us.Thank You.[redacted]Final Business Response /[redacted]/I will be waiting for your call. Again The number is XXX-XXX-XXXX. Thanks and I hope we can resolve this unfortunate issue.Final Consumer Response /[redacted]/This issue has been resolved.Thank you for your help and assistance.

The work was completed at his home. There were a few issues along the way but we resolved them as he requested. He sent us the first page only and refused any additional information such as the Inspector's name and phone number, from the Planning, Development and Inspections Department of [redacted] County. If this had been provided it could have resolved this issue in a timely matter. The permit # found on the document he provided could not be found on the www.wakegov.com website. Once we have looked into this matter further, we will contact the necessary parties at that time. Please feel free to contact me at XXX-XXX-XXXX, [redacted].Consumer Response All American Septic states that the [redacted] County inspection, Permit # WXXXXXX filed by [redacted] is not to be found on the [redacted] web site and therefore they will not correct the issue. This is incorrect. The permit can be found on the above referenced web site under the first page of the inspections department. I have viewed it myself. The head of inspections for [redacted] County, [redacted] (XXX-XXX-XXXX) contacted me at 9:54 am on 6/1/16 to inform me All American Septic was also faxed the Permit stating the work is not completed to county code and must be corrected. The current condition of the work is unsafe with the possibility of electrocution if not corrected. A licensed electrician who is able to pull an electrical permit must complete this work to [redacted] County Code. Final Business Response [redacted]Document Attached[redacted]On March 29, 2016, we were hired by the customer to install 3 risers on his septic system. At that time, he requested that we move his control panel (operating system for septic pump) out from the middle of his yard. We did so by taking the existing wiring that was NOT in conduit and put it in conduit the entire length of the wire, hooked everything up and the job was approved by his wife. She said everything looked great so we left. Once the customer returned home, he wasn't satisfied and wanted it moved an addition five feet. I wanted the customer to be happy with our work so we moved it. It took quit a few hours to do so and again he was unhappy but said it was fine. About a week later he noticed that where we dug our trench, we had hit an irrigation sprinkler line. He called and requested we come by and fix it, so once again we did. At that point, he began second guessing all of our work, and started using profanity at my employees. Therefore, my employee asked that he calm down and not use profanity. After that he demanded that we never come on his property again. Once again, the customer called stating that we owed him $300 plus for an electrician to come and attach the electrical wires inside the control panel that he claims we didn't hook up. However, one of my technicians checked and operated the pump multiple times with the customer by his side. As for the electrical permit and depth of the conduit, we put it at the same depth in which we found it but improved it by adding the conduit around it. Let me know what the next step is.

AAS came to my house three months ago and after $3300 for a incompatible new septic pump and controller box, the alarm continues to go off. Dec 3, 2013 I called AAS to come fix an alarm going off on my residential system. I was told the pump had "died" and I need a new controller box, as well. The original non grinder Pump was installed in 2001 and had very low hours on it. The new pump cost was $ 2775 and was a Zoeller grinder pump, model 820 model year 2011. After multiple calls to AAS about the continued alarm going off over the three month period, I then tried replacing the original digital RK Series RKSF115CB controller box with their SJE Rhombus unit for $ 450 2-6-2014. Several weeks after the initial service call, I called RK Controls regarding continued alarms and found out that there was a possible issue with an incompatible new Zoeller pump and the voltage ratings specifications. I called the Zoeller pump company and they had concerns about the RK controller power ratings since the serial number on the RK controller was a 115 rating for a 220 pump. I discussed this issue with AAS and they said there was no problem. I called Chatham County Environment Health and they indicated that I needed a permit to change to a grinder pump and that I did not need this more expensive unit and why a grinder pump was installed w/o a permit. I then lost power to the RK Controls unit in Early January and trouble shot the issue with the Manufacturer and found it to be a burned contact closure module. I replaced it with a Grainger $50 Square D unit and the system was back up for a while until continued alarms happened and the inside 220 breaker continued to trip on its own and thus, sounding the alarm. I have been receiving complaints form the neighbors and have had the local authorities notified of this noisy alarm. All payments were by check and remitted upon invoice from AAS at time of service. At issue also is that AAS spilled truck oil and tank residue on my driveway when they pumped on the original install in December. Desired SettlementThe issue at hand it that AAS has not provided a viable solution that allows me to have any confidence in their system. I do not believe that the problem was the original pump after speaking to the manufacturers and the original company who installed the original pump. There possibly was a problem with the RK Control unit yet it functioned after the New pump was installed up to two weeks until the contact module burned up and the RK Controller Box lost power. There is no reason that a new pump, controller box, float sensors should be tripping the inside 220 panel fuse and setting off the alarm. I have been overcharged for an older 2011 Zoeller Grinder pump that I did not need. I am demanding a refund of $3225 for the pump and the controller. Business Response /[redacted]/Contact Name and Title: [redacted]Contact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXXContact Email: [redacted]@yahoo.comEverything in this matter has been resolved. Long story short, there was an electrical wire between the house and the pump that was damaged by another contractor which was causing the issues. Everything is fixed and everyone is happy.Final Consumer Response /[redacted]/All American Septic has resolved the problem. The Electrical problem has been fixed.

Stated $85 fee to come to the house to initiate the appointment.Charged $125 to come to the house upon completion.$40 jump in price? When I called to make the appointment AAS stated on the phone that the fee to come to the house was $85. The charge upon completing the service was $125. I called to talk to them after the appointment regarding the $40 jump in price from appointment scheduled to completion. The only response on the phone was "I'm sorry that you feel that they put one over on you."Desired SettlementA refund of $40 showing that they stand by the originally quoted price of $85, over the phone when I made the appointment, to come to the house.Total charge for the service should have been: $185.When I called them after the appointment, they stated that to come to the house was $125 and the labor fee was $100.Business Response /[redacted]/Contact Name and Title: [redacted] Contact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXXContact Email: [redacted]@yahoo.comOur charge for emergency service is and always has been $125.00.
