I have contacted the company via email & rec’d a response that they needed more info, i.e. a contract/proposal.  I responded by telling them I did not receive on everything was verbal, I also told them that their employee had me make the check out to him & not the company (I provided a copy of the cashed check).  I have not heard back to my response yet.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this response does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference:The business "co-owner" is either not aware of, or not being truthful regarding the money that was paid at the time of the contract signing.  $[redacted] was paid (in cash, as was specifically requested of me) at the time of the contract signing (when the crew arrived on site).  Furthermore, contrary to the claim that "no work was performed by the business," the 3 man crew helped load & unload materials to and from the [redacted] on [redacted] Rd. in [redacted], demolished part of an existing fence and made several failed attempts at removing existing fence posts and utilizing their auger.  There are local witnesses to ALL of these events and further, documented evidence that corroborate my accounts.  I intend to file a formal, detailed complaint with the Virginia DPOR as my next step in the process should this matter remain unresolved.    Regards,[redacted]
