Completely satisfied with this firm's serviceCame out at 8pm to diagnose what was wrong with refrigerator freezer, determined the ice maker was not working because previous appliance repair company installed new ice maker but did not confirm if it workedIn fact, brand new ice maker could never work unless the sensor operates to actuate the water when no ice is in the storage binMike went to his truck, brought in a new sensor and now the ice maker worksIt was so simple it strains credulity to believe another appliance repair company would not do the elementary check to verify what the problem was
Mike noted the door hinge was not allowing the door to close properly, ordered that part and called to schedule an appointment during the following weekMike should also be commended for calling us the Saturday before the scheduled date for his return visit to say he received the part and would be able to come earlierHe asked if Sunday would work and we said "yes;" Mike came today and completed the repairs and now we have everything working as it should The best way I can say thank you to Mike, is to recommend him to everyone who needs an expert appliance repairman

This is not an admission of guilt or fault on my partI do sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused the customerI have no problem repairing the door links on the dishwasher free of chargeI have contacted the customer
on 4/24/and left a voicemail to setup an appointment in order that I may repair and remedy the problem In my defense, the door links couldn't have been damaged since I only removed the front outer door panel to check for the original problem (leaking dishwasher)I was there on two occasions trying to find the source of the leak and there was not a drop of water to be found when I looked
I then proceeded to remove the door panel to further inspect the leak and found nothingThe door links breaking on this particular kitchen aid dishwasher is a common problemIf there was a problem with the door links I would never have left the dishwasher in that state before leavingI don't appreciate being accused of making additional damages when that was not the case, but just happened to be a coincidenceThere was no need to file a complaint when this could have been remedied directly with meI run an honest business and I am always willing to work with the customer to make things right.
In regards to pricing, my service fee is $to come out and make a diagnosisIf nothing is found, the customer is still responsible for my time and workThe service fee is only waived if repair work is completedThis is standard practice in the repair industryThe two visits were months apartHowever, to make things right I will repair the door links at no additional costThe $I originally quoted the customer was for parts, labor and taxMy minimum labor is $for any work I do, so you can see I was not overcharging on parts.
I hope this issue can be resolved quickly and in a cordial manner.
