All Around Cleaning

Complaint[redacted], proprietor of All Around Cleaning gave me an estimate for cleaning the house after construction of a new kitchen. She told me at the time it would take approximately 4 days to complete the job. I made the mistake of hiring her and then compounded the mistake by paying her everything [redacted] upfront She arrived with a crew of three men whom she told what to do and left. They 'cleaned' for about 6 hours then sat on my front porch waiting for [redacted] to come pick them up. I put 'cleaned' in quotes, because they did and they didn't clean. Some of the work was done fine, but they did not put things back anyway near the way they found them. There was another job to be done by Ms. [redacted]'s companyremoving the popcorn ceiling from the second floor hall. That job was done a week or so later and the mess on the second floor has never been cleaned. Ms. [redacted] has scheduled then cancelled the job 3 times in the last three weeks. I am sick of waiting for her to find time in her busy schedule to 'fit' me in. I found the time and money to pay her upfront, but she has not found the time to come finish the job. I have asked her for a 50% refund because as far as I am concerned they only did half (truly less than half) the job. She says that's not the way contracts work. I have not signed a contract with her, everything was done verbally. One of her workers broke the fixture that holds the shower head in the upstairs bathroom and they did leave a replacement part on my front porch this week (3 weeks after it was broken). I have emailed with Ms. [redacted] to no avail and really don't expect her to change her tune when she hears from you. She wants to come back to 'finish the job'. I do not want her in my house again. That being said, I would very much like my comment about this business to be posted on Revdex.com's complaints page if that is possible.
