I had a sinking cement front porch with old carpet on it When I pulled the carpet off, the cement under it was crumbling and I was told I couldn't put carpet over it as it would never stick I called All Around Construction They came right out and told me they could build a deck over it They came out in a reasonable time and went to work They are very pleasant and worked very hard, even in the rain and came on a Sunday also The whole crew were hard working The owner, Melissa, and her husband, the leader of the crew, and Mike all worked very hard to get it done the way I wanted it and it came out beautiful and sturdy They know what their doing I will use them again in a minute and refer them

Hello, This is regards to the complaint from *** ***. *** *** hired All Around construction to do work in her home(please see attached invoice) We had our employees go to the house and start the workOur employees fixed or replaced hinges, door knobs for cabinets,
fixed holes in the walls, chaulked base boards, and paint prepThey also removed old broken hardware and vanitiesThe house is very dirty including the walls( see pictures) We discussed at the time of the estimate that *** will need to clean the walls so we can paint them and the paint will adhere to the walls properlyShe agreed to do soMoving forward, we received a call from *** after our employees went out to the house that she was accusing All Around Construction of stealing her trash canWe informed her we have our own trash trailer and we do not use the residential trash cans. Our employees continued to do some work and prep for paint inside the house and request *** washes the walls like we spoke about at the time of estimate because the paint would not stickThe office manager called and spoke to *** and let her know this needed to be done and that we can provide the service of cleaning for a fee or she could do itShe declined the offer and stated she would do it A few days later the office manager called her to see where she was on the status of cleaning and she informed her the cleaning of the walls inside the home was done and the house was ready to goWhen our employees showed up the very next day they discovered the walls had not been touched on the inside where the painting was needing to be done. The office manager called *** to confirm that this needed to be done and ***'s response was that she cleaned the outside and not the insideAfter explaining we are not doing work to any of the outside of the house and that the cleaning of the inside is what was confirmed to be done and still needs to be done*** was very angry and hung up the phone. A few days went by and the office manager called to confirm the walls on the inside would be cleaned so we can schedule our employees to go back out and finish the work for the paint*** was very rude and said she would not clean them and the paint will stick*** also accused All Around Construction of cutting down a tree in her front yardAfter many angry words said on ***s behalf, we assured her that was not our area of work nor was it even in the contract to do soOur employees did not cut any tree down. A few days go by and *** called asking for a refundAll Around Construction office manager informed her this is a contract for the work that was signed on both All Around Construction as well as *** *** and there will not be a refund*** was told as soon as she cleaned the inside walls for the paint to be able to stick we would be more than willing to go out and finish the work for the paintWe assured her as soon as she cleaned the walls we will complete the workThank you, All Around Construction General Contractor *** *** Court Bakersfield, CA ###-###-####

Hello, Thank you for getting back to meUnfortunately, what *** is stating is completely incorrect Her son was there at the time of the estimate when *** (owner of the company) told her she will have to clean up the walls in order for the paint to adhereHer son stated "Mom, are you sure you will be able to do that?" *** responded with "yes". As you can see there was nothing added to the contract that *** signedWe asked her over and over again to clean the wallsWe set aside time for her project to get done so we had the right amount of employees to go in and complete the jobWe asked her over and over again to take care of the walls and then again called to check the status of the walls. As I wrote you All around contractor .after I paid the deposit he created more stories to gain more money for example paint will not stick if we don t scrobe the wall I hired another contractor they never asked for that or door needs to be replaced nothing was wrong with the door. I asked him to take care of garage door he said that will take time.second contractor did both in same day.painted the house and fixed the garage door. Thanks a lot [redacted]
